Clean and fresh. Friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. 2 minute walking distance into Reykjavik and also parking available for anyone who rents a car. Breakfast was good with buffet of continental and cooked breakfast. Also fresh bread! They also have a waffle maker to make fresh waffles. Selection of different milks also ( this I was happy about as I'm lactose intolerant). They also have a secure room for your bags on check out if your flight is later. Was very happy with our stay here.

Good, basic hotel with a good breakfast - when you visit Iceland you should be touring the country not fussing around in the hotel anyways! Centrally located with restaurants nearby. Rooms are small, but clean and staff is friendly.

This hotel has simple and comfortable rooms. Good location, it's easy to walk anywhere downtown. Good breakfast buffet. Very quiet, guaranteed a good night rest. A bit pricey for what it is, but I guess this is Iceland.

This hotel was in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars. There is a drop off area for buses too. Joanna at the front desk was great help. They even provided complimentary sandwiches as we had a very early flight departure. I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for spa treatments and massages, go elsewhere. I'll give 5 stars because of overall satisfaction with the place, not because of facilities.

Good hotel, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast good, room is OK but very compact as is bathroom. The bed was very firm but comfortable. Having said all that the hotel was good value and you are not there to live in it. We were very happy it served it's purpose very well.

Rooms were very clean and their front desk was helpful. Well within the price range.

Hotel is close to city center and tour/transport pick ups are not an issue. Tried the burgers in the first floor restaurant and was quite delighted, the taste made it worth their $25 dollar price.

The breakfast has many options and is always were supplied by their staff. Our rooms did not have soap; they had even placed shampoo in the sink soap dispensers, not sure if it was a mistake We had our one soaps, so we never bother to ask about it.

Theodora was great! And the other lady as well, I've forgotten her name. For the price, this is a great hotel. The complimentary breakfast was great, the only downfall is the shower in our room doesn't have a containment system for the water. So the water traveled around the bathroom floor a bit. Nonetheless I'd book this hotel again.

Wonderful setting and dramatic views. Good decor and cosy interior. Liked the pictures as well hanging around. The restaurant is expensive and literally the only one for miles in winter. Plenty of food if going for just a main course. Would stay again

Nice but basic hotel. There's free parking, but you need to get a remote to open the gate, so you need to run in to grab it to enter and leave the parking lot. Also a nice free breakfast. Our shower was a bit wonky but otherwise, all good!!

The location of the hotel wasn't ideal yet not overly bad it was close enough to the main shopping street yet not really close to much else, the rooms were small and the hotel looked nothing like the pictures then again neither did most of Reykjavik. The breakfast was by far the best part of the stay large selection of food and drink. The staff were helpful if you asked the right questions but other than that acted as I was wasting their time.

Clean but nothing close to luxury. Very bare bones. The bathroom shower is completely open.

Check in time is 16h00 which is not justified. However, they let me in at 9h00 (7 hours before). i loved service and facilities. The location was also very convenient. Very recommended!

The rooms are mediocre and the Wi-Fi doesn't reach every room. The breakfast was nice, especially since food can be pricey in Iceland. The staff, however, is what this place amazing. The bartender, Lilit, is an expat herself from Armenia and very friendly. She would stay past closing and miss her bus in order to chat and offer recommendations on adventures in Iceland. Without her, probably a 3 star rating but because of her, definitely a 5 star rating.

    Average hotel experience.

Convenient location, in walking distance to the main shopping strip, 24 h grocery store nearby.

Rooms were clean, although a bit odd to use all-black wall paint and floors in some rooms. Didn't bother me, but others might find it depressing. Bare-bones lighting with low-light, decorative bulbs hanging from the ceiling on their wire and the two bed lights were in the way, I bumped into them more than once.

Small space, but sufficient for one, might get a bit cramped for two. Nice large bathroom. Friendly service who offered to make us coffee in the morning because we had to leave before breakfast opened.

As visitors from the US, this was one of the best places I stayed while in Iceland. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but it was also uniquely designed as a part of a special project and had a very unique aesthetic and decor. Great breakfast buffet and helpful staff.
