The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly when we went and of course the food was amazing. We ordered a daily special and a fish and chips and it was so fresh and tasty. Truly a local treat that should not be passed up!

Local restaurant where you must eat! Great variety of fish. You can order a'la carte, fish of the day or combine your own menu. Stuff is friendly and we felt very welcomed.

We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and we did on our second time going to an English speaking family! We even went back for thirds to take off the island with us to cook in Reykjavik. You order at the front and they are patient and describe the fish to you, then take it back cook it in a skillet with veggies, rice, and potatoes and bring you the skillet as your plate!! Their hours on google are incorrect so check Facebook and the price is great for Iceland, the portion size and the quality of the meal.

Awesome fish and chips! The owner is really friendly and always cooks the food fresh and depending on what's available, the menu changes. Perfect place for a light lunch or full-blown meal.

This has been one of the best meals we've had in Iceland so far. The lobster soup was creamy and delicious. You can choose your own fish at the front, which was pretty cool. We ended up getting the daily fish special, which was fresh cod marinated with species, rice, and mini potatoes served on the skillet it was cooked in. It was beautifully platted and full of flavor. I would definitely come back here if we were staying on the island longer.
