Hotel looked brand new and was the nicest we stayed in during our stay in Iceland. They have a service which alerts you of the Northern lights shown up during the middle of the night. Sure enough, with 4 hours left to go on the island we got a call at 1240am to come out and get a catch of the lights. That was so worth it. One thing we never read about is that it is right smack next to a geothermal power plant. The restaurant overlooks it and is kind of unique. The food we had at the restaurant was just OK with pretty lousy service.

Rooms are clean and adequate. The lack of separate shampoo, conditioner in the washroom is really disappointing for the cost of the room.

Great little hotel! Right next to the blue lagoon! They are very hospitable staff. Rooms were very nice! Food was great!

There is nothing not to love about this hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are clean, light and comfortable. The food is amazing and the views outstanding
