Nice location. Rooms a bit outdated but nice place to stay
Spacious rooms. Organized breakfast buffet.
Big room and super comfortable bed.
Well situated and affordable.
Recommended!
The room is OK, but breakfast offer s this dish is a surprise.
Nice warm small and cozy.
Unfortunately there is practically no vegan food at breakfast.
Basic hotel with basic food. Basic breakfast buffet. This is remote part of Iceland. Iceland really needs more hotels and accommodation types to cater for the large tourist numbers. After paying US$1000 for this 3 days/2 nights tour, this basic hotel does not provide much to the 38 of us onboard! Basic service as well. I didn’t bother to take photos as it was disappointing and lack lustre
Well nice rooms, came here on and Iceland school trip and we slept in rooms of two. Clean and comfortable.
This is a very functional hotel. It’s good if you need the basics covered.
The room sizes are decent with old school heaters and taps.
The breakfast spread is decent (not if you are a vegetarian).
The staff is decent and helpful.
I wouldn’t come back to this hotel frankly.
Smoked puffin (bird) & lamb served.
Hotel has 2 "hot tubs" in the back (outside) garden, each can fit 6 persons. Only steps to 2nd floor ( no lift ). Near (3 min. walk) to petrol station, two restaurants & supermarket
It is a good hotel. Clean good serices. Good to go form here to Seljarlandsfoss and Skogafoss only 20 min drive. 1 houre from reykjavík.
A great hotel. The rooms are clean, tidy and comfy. My favorite is their buffet. They serve every type of meat that is eaten in iceland, including whale, puffin, lamb, beef and fish. Reccomend it highly!
Aside from the amazing dinner and room, the hotel staff and Angelia, are nothing shy of amazing. Will definitely come back!!!!
Instead of staying in the major cities we decided to stay in this small town hotel at half the price. Very nice hotel, clean good sized rooms, great breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Being city folks, we wanted to see life on a farm in Iceland. The receptionist at the front desk (Mary) consented to show us her family farm. Now, that is going out of the way to please customers.
Decent place to stay in south iceland. Doors lock at 10pm though, which is odd. Don't arrive late.
Decent hotel. Nothing special.
Nice and quiet hotel. I had trouble with the drain in the shower but it was ok for just one night. I booked a three day tour and this was one of the hotel we got to stay in. Breakfast was included and it wasn't the best. Just cold ham, cereal and fruits. The easy stuff.
Good location, right next to golden circle. Bed and pillow are not comfortable.
Room is spacious and clean. Friendly staff. The only niggle is that there is only one heater in the big room and none in the bathroom, thus we feel a bit cold compared with other hotels we have stayed in North Europe (warmth is very important in cold winter here). Tried to get an extra heater from reception but the only one they have was borrowed already. Apart from this, everything is fine.
Great hotel with all the amenities at a decent price. Quite a spacious room for the price, and a nice view of a grove of trees(not a common site in Iceland).
