  Perfect for both local people and tourists. Forget about Temple Bar: if you want a good pint of Guinness at a good price (€5.20) go here. Also has live events like music and theatre.

  Cool atmosphere! Traditional Irish bar with a bunch of interesting nooks and crannies. They also host events from time to time, like comedians and live music. Drinks are a little pricey.

  Went to the stags head for the first time with my partner last night. Great pub and atmosphere. However the one aspect I really enjoyed was how accommodating the staff were, in particular a staff member called Brendan. He was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with and an asset to the stags head. he made the experience very enjoyable and because of him I will be recommending this bar to friends and family.

  Delicious traditional Irish food. The Guinness stew was hearty and filling. Their burgers where delicious. Even tough it was only 5 30pm it was already packed and the staff didn't seem to be able to cope. We waited about 15 minutes to be served and waited about 20 minutes for staff to go near our table after we were done

  The atmosphere is fantastic here, just like all the great pubs in Dublin. The food was great, but nothing unique to the pub individually. Great dinner food, but ends at 6pm so don't expect to go there for a late dinner. I'd absolutely recommend but not necessarily a must-see place.

  Very good atmosphere. Beef stew with guinness is better than many. Beer selection is, I must say, is only OK for Dublin. Just remember that this place is at the heart of the touristic action. Can get crowded. Only major problem is that the kitchen is not open until late. On a Tuesday kitchen closed at 6.00 pm.

  Had a pint of Guinness here, good pint also a very good ham and cheese toastie, came with real chips( not skinny fries) and green leaf salad with dressing. Staff friendly and helpful,very busy but still served quite quickly. Lots of people eating and looking like they were enjoying it (so good what ever you get) . Prices Well it's Temple bar.

  Went here recently on a Saturday night. Amazing live musician and great crowd. Much more enjoyable/memorable experience at this bar and nearby bars compared to the Temple bar area. The drinks were cheaper and the vibe was great. I would highly reccomened!

  Maybe one of the best meals we've had in Ireland! Came in early afternoon with the kids for a snack. Friendly staff, fast service, delectable food. Oh, and of course it's FULL of history. If walls could talk.

  One of my favourite spots in Dublin any time of the year. Held a few special occasions here. Staff and management are wonderful. Food is great and pints always good. Live music on occasion in house and sometimes right outside the window! Looking forward to popping in some Sunday to see Strolling with Ulysses. Always worth a visit here.

  We've been here during a live-music performance, it was reaaally nice. Obviously had to book cause it was very crowded. The prices are a bit higher than usual (and the cocktails even not that strong), still nice in the complex. Regular waiting time, you have to pay at the table~
