Old charming pub in the centre of Dublin just steps from Temple bar strip. Good prices and selection of draught beers. Live Irish music in the evening.

This was our first meal in Dublin and it was SO perfect. All we knew was that we NEEDED some fish and chips and a Guinness. We had no idea that this place would not only give us that, but that it would also be so incredibly delicious and paired with a warm, wonderful atmosphere. This remains one of my favorite meals from our five week trip throughout Europe (and we had a lot of meals!).

Beautiful looking bar. The first bartender that served me was having an off day I guess, the guy was not very friendly. His replacement was a lot more agreeable, which made up for the experience.

My favourite pub in Dublin, especially the little bar off to the right as you go in and down the stairs. Very cosy and friendly. The staff couldn't have done more for us, and only added to the traditional Dublin experience. Thank you.

Nice but €18 for 2 very basic and average Gin n Tonics Crazy. Just cause everyone else is doing it isn't a good enough reason. Stop taking advantage

If you want good Irish food, live music, and a quaint and classically Irish atmosphere, go here. The Guinness Stew and Irish pie were both very good. The night we went, there was a great duo on stage playing Irish versions of hipster hits (like Mumford, KOL, etc), and took requests. They played Wild Rover for me and my night was complete.

I love this place. The bar staff and waiters are really nice. The menu has an Irish slant, and is well priced. They are willing to let you change things to your taste. Live music during the day. Great atmosphere. Lots of tourists and locals.

Beautiful pub. I went with my boyfriend many times because there's always live music and people dancing. We had a very good dinner, food is fresh and staff is friendly and polite. This place is very typical, it represents the old tavern where Irish people dance and talk and have fun. I recommend it for sure. Go and have fun like a proper dubliner!

Great place to eat some traditional dishes in Dublin. I certainly recommend the Guiness Beef Stew (it is absolutely delicious).
Dishes are not cheap but they are worth it.
    I recommend it.

Thought we would go in for some food late afternoon as it seemed one of the quieter places to go get some food.

Not to sure if it was a member of staff/ bouncer/ manager). It is well within the rights of an establishment to refuse entry but the attempted abuse for choice of clothes (joggers and jacket) not only is poor customer service but laughable when considering the time of and that this place is a pub we tried entering for some casual food not a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant.

Poor language and customer service used by the member of staff who seemingly was looking for a confrontation. Definitely recommend going elsewhere. I respect a place enforcing a dress code but a ignorant 'person' giving out abuse is unacceptable.
