Nice place with tasty food. Overpriced as all Avoca places.
Great brunch, quick service and cool atmosphere with on one side fresh and good products (vegetables, meat, cheese room,) and on the other the restaurant. Half chicken from the rotisserie is a must.
Excellent customer service. Friendly, polite and respectful staff. Food quality is great.
Their barista needs training, or she simply isn't a trained barista. Rather than monitor the heat of the milk with her hand as it is being steamed she simply turns the steam wand on and leaves it in the metal pitcher.
The milk comes out far beyond 70c (the max temperature when steaming milk for coffee) which takes away from the flavour of the milk.
In my case she made me a matcha latte with almond milk. It was so hot I burnt my lip! Matcha should never be made with boiling water or milk as it destroys the tea.
The market is a little overpriced (I know, I know, but I come from Italy..) but the fruit quality is definitely the highest I've found. There's seating for brunch / lunch / cake and tea, with a nice selection and a high quality.
Avoca in Monkstown does yummy food. Sometimes a tad on the pricey side for what you get, but mostly very good all the same. Avoca lovers take note: this is a sit down eatery with Ă la carte menu, not like your usual self service offerings at Avoca. The dishes change regularly but I recommend the eastern plate of haloumi fritters with dips right now.
Staff are helpful and friendly. ..small menu but very good food. .. last out of restaurant and we were offered free bread 🙂
Good atmosphere and good food. The organic juice/drinks were overpriced in my opinion
Great food but loses a star for service. Been a few times and we've been waiting a long time. Keep going back because the food is lovely though!
Nice place to pick up something a little bit fancy, if you don't mind paying a premium . Butcher's inside is very good, the pre prepared meals are great.
I have to recommend this place! Grab a cup of coffee or tea with scones, are delicious. Also, the shop display is cozy, nice and so tempting that is difficult to resist buying.
Absolutely delicious food, wonderful ambience and first rate , attentive service - a mixed clientele - all ages and heavenly calm, well-behaved children being parented. A thoroughly civilised experience . Fantastic shop with an abundance of quality foodstuffs - came away with some lovely cheeses and some Portuguese custard tarts. Worth flying to Dublin for - can we have one of these in Dorset please?
