It would be great if there was any solutions offered when the air con was not working for a long time when we checked in. Especially we had a baby. However, the MODs were very nice to handle this issue. Well, next time better Verwood.

The hotel may be abit outdated but it has all the facilities that you would need. It is located strategically near to highway and many dining establishments. The staff are friendly, pleasant and helpful. The rooms may not be newly renovated but it is more than adequately equipped.

Very nice hotel with a friendly team of staffs that would serve you during your stay in verwood hotel.
They have a lounge located in the lobby.
And also have a restaurant that serving breakfast, lunch and dinner located on the second floor.
This hotel also facilitated with the swimming pool and gym.
The hotel is recommended for short or long stay, and for business trip, leisure or family holiday.
There is a serviced apartment with one, two and three rooms units are available for daily stay.

Quite a nice place for the price. Breakfast is OK. Big bed (both bedroom has king size bed). Too bad only 1 toilet. Location is good.

We stay at the serviced apartments and really enjoy our staying there. The place itself still under renovation here and there but still the staffs give high efforts to make our staying comfortable and relax. Very helpful and friendly staffs. I think the people there that makes it as comfy as home feeling. Other than the fact that the hotel needs renovation, the food at the breakfast place getting worse by day, one of the downside of this place.

Mid-level hotel, lots of convenient restaurants or food stalls nearby. Breakfast buffet kept running empty probably due to volume of people but that really should have been anticipated. I gave up trying to get foods like the waffles, pancakes and pastries. I got some bad papaya too. The rooms were spacious. The lift was awful, 2 out of 3 running so the wait was 10-15 minutes at breakfast and check out time. And one lift kept not closing and when it did, made a loud alarm sound. One staff member was great, offered to take us in the service lift - may not have been SOP but he was helpful and nice. Not bad for the price and the family did have fun but maybe better anticipation for high occupancy times.

I have stayed as part of business trip, hotel atmosphere looks little outdated bit nevertheless good place. Breakfast and food options are good. Rooms are good and comfortable. Had nice and comfortable stay. Parking space is available and swimming pool is also. Budget hotel, price is economical. Spa service is available at your room.

This is a lovely hotel. Me and my friend stumbled across this hotel and are so happy that we did. They have a really tasty buffet where you can completely indulge yourself, the staff are very professional & nice to be around and the rooms are so comfortable. I would recommend.

Lagi promo di hari jumat cm tidak tahu sampai kapan dgn syarat pakai batik.. Makanan nya lumayan enak, tempat nyaman, lahan parkir luas, pelayanan ramah, peralatan makan bersih. Cocok juga utk meeting kecil, dating, dll..

Verwood hotel before is Somerset Hotel Surabaya. And now is under different management (i forgot the Management name, but same management with Java Paragon Hotel Group)
The price is very good For the premium location
for Room is very big with classic decoration
The wifi inside and outside room is free and fast
Breakfast is in middle class standard enough variety but the taste average.
I'm not impressed with Reception staff when i check in because they cannot give the best solution for my request in my booking. But for check out experienced (with the different staff) i really have a good impressed.

Nice place to stay for those that visit for a short stay in Surabaya, as the location is nice for the West Surabaya area. Many good food tenants can be visited by car nearby and shopping district of West Surabaya..
