The location is in downtown so you can go anywhere easily, the room is clean and the facilities works normally. Overall i am really satisfied stayed in this hotel. Anyone who traveled to Surabaya should try the hospitality of this hotel

If your looking for something like a Marriott go to the Marriott, if your looking the Red Roof Inn or Motel 8 then this place will definitely leave the lights on for you, and you are in luck with Hotel 88. 3 stars for the great price and safe but only 3 stars because it is so dated. Great staff.

Hotelnya bersih dan nyaman. Tidak ada kendala dri awal check in sampai check out. Plus : Lokasi cukup strategis. Ckup jalan kaki 500 meter sudah bisa nemu surabaya plaza. Minus : kamar tidak ada jendela.

This hotel is located on Embong Kenongo Street Surabaya. The hotel and room is standar for 1 stars hotel rating. But the location is very good since its very near with Kayoon food and culinary center. Also it is near with Delta Mall Surabaya. For a bussiness trip, this is the right choice hotel.

for room: overall enough. bathroom light-less light. mattress too hard.
for food: less tasty. most provide indonesian cuisine.

access to rooms is pretty far from the lift or stairs. the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel is quite. atmosphere suitable for businnes or backpacker who just need to rest only. location is quite strategic. but unfortunately there is no window. rooms seem dark.

Room is not spacious but what a heck if you just want to sleep. Breakfast is quite well served, in local dishes style. The people are very helpful and with smiles :-)

It's a good place to stay a while, cause it has bad ventilation. I thought there must be a window to circulate the wind. I had lil bad experience on it. My room's smell cigarettes, then i asked to the helper to spray any fragrance on a room. This hotel has good menu on breakfast. So many kind of food. Start from apptzr, main course, and dessert. I had really good breakfast while i've been there. I can't say about additional food that able to order. (cause i didn't order any for room service, i didn't know about the taste).

It's an OK place for staying one night or so.
However, it has it's negatives:
The breakfast is mainly Indonesian based. Keep that in mind if you don't like Indonesian food.
The bedrooms are small. If you stay in one bedroom with 2 people, it will get cozy, too cozy in my opinion.

Positives:
Most of the times, there's a taxi waiting outside of the building and if there are none, the hotel is able to call for one.
The staff is friendly so that's always positive for me.
The bathroom looks nice and the shower is good. It has all the basics and it works nice.

I have only been here for one day so the review isn't going very long.

I would recommend this hotel for short stays but not for longer stays.

Modern, fresh redesign, but the windows don't open so you won't breath fresh air. I had the train at 7 am in the morning, so came to have a breakfast at 6:15. In the restaurant there were no tourist but 7 persons of staff and no one could cook me omelet, through it was in menu. Lazy or what?
