Awesome resort to stay in the countryside of bali. Though it is far away from denpensar city and lack of night life, yet its immersive natural beauty is overwhelming and appealing.
Resort staffs are well behaved. However, airconditioning systemes are not well maintained in all rooms which i experienced twice during my stay there.
Food is delicious but much expensive as expected from these kindda gold crowned resorts.
There are plenty of other good quality local restaurants nearby to experince the balinese dalicasies in a pocket friendly manner.

Very nice hospitality by staff.. Everyone was very friendly and helpful..We enjoyed our honeymoon with romantic dinner in sea beach spa and awesome view.Early morning breakfast was just mind blowingWould like to visit this hotel again and again to refresh memories.

This place is awesome the rooms are clean and tidy and cleaned daily the spa is very relaxing and got the knots in my back out felt so good :)
As for the resturant it took me a day to get the hang of the new menu but once i did i found alot of delicious food and drinks that i loved the chicken teriaki was so delicious i eat it untill i couldnt fit another bite :)
All in all i give this resort 5 stars

Absolutely fantastic.
The staff are friendly and understanding, the meals are wonderful, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is simply spectacular.
The price of the meals is a bit higher than the other places in the area, but it's understandable as the quality is amazing.
Also the restaurant manager is very kind, caring, and understanding.
10/10 would visit again.

A posh Shangri-La-type setting situated right alongside an iddylic beach. Fantastic horticulture and landscaping throughout the grounds. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, stunning even! Its architecture is like something out of a movie! Top Notch staff too. Many of it's tranquil settings will delight visitors and guests alike. Very photogenic!!

Cosy rooms placed in little houses, surrounded by an exotic garden. The views- breathtaking. What is more, the prices in the restaurant are very decent. Highly recommend.

Very, very nice. This is a five star resort in my books. Conveniently located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but within walking distance to the attractions in the village/town.

This place is quite overpriced for the quality of the rooms and breakfast. We stayed in an ocean view bungalow which was clean but very old. Our shower wouldn't turn off the first night so we had to have maintenance come to the room.
Breakfast was very ordinary. Not much choice compared to other hotels we have stayed in on Bali, Lombok and the Gilis and the service was very slow and quite poor. We have traveled extensively through Asia so are very patient and understanding of their ways but this hotel has been an exception.

A great beach property.Rooms are decorated as Traditional Balinese house.They are clean,cozy and with all modern facilities.Ocean front cottages are best location wise.Bathroom is pretty big..good quality free toiletries are supplied.Swimming pool is actually infinity pool with adjoining spa area.Restaurant is just hanging over the ocean.Food quality is good.Traditional Balinese dishes as well as western cuisine is available.Bar facility is also there.Staffs are very helpful,friendly and prompt.Best feature of this property is a library with great collection.It's a great place to explore Bali's eastern coast.

A beautiful location and very relaxing.
Very upmarket accommodation at a reasonable price.
Town for shopping is a bit of a hike but the resort has a shuttle to take you in and bring you back, not a lot of shops to choose from as its basically a small country seaside village.
Resort is right on the beach, the restaurant protrudes out over the water with stunning views and beach access is via some stairs.
Very friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble for them.
I fell sick whilst there and was bed ridden for 4 days, the resort took very good care of us and the local doctor came to the roomvery good service.
The pool is what makes or breaks the place and the pool here definitely sets it apart from other resorts, very well set out, clean and tidy, and service around the pool is impeccable.

The Rama Candidates was a wonderful place to have a holiday in Bali. The room, pool and restaurant were lovely. The staff were very friendly ,helpful and smiley. The choice of food was very good but I did get diarreah and spent a day in bed. Someone else had it too and had to have the doctor who said it was probably because the pork and chicken aren't cooked enough especially when on the bone and also the different spices over here could affect Europeans. If this is remedied then the hotel would be excellent. I would certainly come back if lucky enough and would highly recommend it.

Good place to relax and break away from the city: ) the room is clean and pleasant. Breakfast was the same everyday. So I'll suggest to walk out and try something else. There are many up standard restaurant around candidasa.

14th Jan this year, my partner treated me a bday trip to Bali. We stayed at Rama Candidasa. What a beautiful Resort! Scenic and so tranquil, an ideal place to be to escape from a very busy lifestyle. Rooms were spacious , luxurious and clean. Staff were super friendly! Good value for money. Highly Recommended ! A great place to stay! Next time we will visit Bali, we want to stay there again!!!hopefully, soon. Terimah Kasih!

Life is lively near the International airport

Here it's romantic and fun during the day
The vicinity too is dull for evening and night

Ambience is low
Typical SPA style

Sure they are business oriented n friendly to your spendings

Taxis and everyone just live to bargain

Negotiable uptown 40% of actual quote or pasted on purchases everywhere around this place

Good eateries with every possible combination n tastes All Reasonable

No life after six

The staff are very good. The pool area is lovely. Our garden villa was spacious and comfortable but was looking a bit tired and our room could have done with a deep clean in the corners. It has the feeling of a transit hotel rather than somewhere to stay for a long time.

We stayed in an ocean front bungalow. The view is unbeatable with a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. However, the bungalow was quite old and it is noticeable. A sewage smell would often emanate from the bathroom drain. Service at the restaurant was poor as well in comparison to all the other restaurants we've been to in Bali.

This was our 4th visit so that probably says it all! The staff are the best,friendly and well trained. I had to take my wife to the doctors and they promptly arranged a pickup.The pool area and the gardens have always been beautiful and a credit to the workers but this time there was the addition of a gym area that I personally enjoyed and also a lift in the menu. Planning the next stay!

The trip from the airport took forever, 2 hrs I recall, which to be honest was too far. The resort itself is lovely and the Spa in particular was very good. I had two treatments there

However the BIG letdown was the food. The restaurant was catering for both tour groups and independent travellers. Trouble is we were all fed as if were were on the Group. The selection and quality of both breakfast and dinner was the worst I have had in SE Asia.

We tried to eat out and just 10 -15 mins walk away are a number of good restaurants on the main road.

So, lovely place but we wont be back.

We are halfway through our stay here and absolutely love it. Well worth the drive and a little extra money to get out of the touristy areas for something more. Picture perfect. Wonderful staff. Fantastic food.
