18 years in and out of Jakarta

The Gran Melia is presently certainly not at the greatest of a accessible location with all the construction work happen

Despite from long time stuck in the traffic, finally arriving at the lobby, a warm welcome by the members of the hotel makes up the negative experience on the way there.

Food wise, a great place to eat out, as you are restricted with dinning places art pubs you, mainly due to the fact of the traffic, unless you like to spend lots of time in the evening traffic,
May you did not yet had enough of it?

For your healths and fitness, all is here in a clean and well maintained environment, looked after by team members of the hotel,

From the security over the concierge to the check in, you surrounded by friendly members of the Gran Melia.

Do you self a favour as a treat, book you self to the red level and enjoy the lounge with evening cocktail and view into the Jakarta night view

To me, spending yearly up to 240 nights in hotels around Asian Countries, it's a great place to stay for business

Very great hotel. Excellent security and friendly staffs at the same time. The food also great. I've been there 2 days held an event with overseas colleagues. No complaints from them about the hotel services. And the most important one: superb location. It's near governments and embassies building. Often get traffic when rush hour but it has alternative routes.

Fabulous room with a deep bath and comfortable bed.
Restaurant buffet breakfast and Saturday night dinner not to be missed - one of the best, including great coffee.
Pool, gym, spa, lobby and bar all great. I had a wonderful time here.
Huge inflatable unicorn and flamingo in the pool on the weekend were a lot of fun.

Wellthis hotel truly deserved their 5-stars, when you enter the lobby, you will smell fragrance from flowers, or perfume that so elegant, the food breakfast are excellent in variety and taste, all the staffs are friendly, nice, treat you very well. Lovely interior room and amenities. Just note that you can’t waer slippers outside the room even if you just want to have breakfast. I don’t get a chance to try the swimming pool, but I ever came to the pool just to sit outside, quite big enough I think. Very recommended for business trip or honeymoon :)

Plus : Nice luxury hotel.. Room is balance with the class of a 5 star hotel..
Delicious food served in the restaurant..
Minus : The chef are not friendly, all the food server not giving a warm and comfortable service for us to stay at the restaurant..

Good hotel. Unfortunately it is isolated, no restaurants, convenience stores, malls nearby. The area is usually crowded and full of traffic. It does have good food options inside the hotel.

Nice hotel but Very very heavy traffic jam near hotel.
Took 30min for 5km move.
If rainterrable.
Beside that..room condition, staffs, breakfast are all ok for 4 star hotel.

Breakfast selection is below 5 stars hotel quality.
Coffee served only when asked. And it is just plain coffee. I have to go to Starbucks for decent Cafe latte.
Foods wise, croissant is very dry, cold and hard like that foods u can find at 3 stars hotel.
Selection is so so compare to SPG, Accor hotels.
Will skip this hotel as the limitation of the foods and surrounding traffic .

Gran Melia Jakarta hotel is awesome! I liked the rooms as it was spacious. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed the check-in drink. Although the swimming pool was small, it was clean and fun. I enjoyed this hotel and would definitely want to go back for another stay!

I use this hotel for workshop / training and sometimes meeting with Client like what I did last week at the cafe. It's really a great place and I enjoy the service very much. In fact I always use my Brompton bicycle when I have a session with this hotel because the traffic around is crowded. It's good to ride bicycle here.

Room is very nice and big. The gym was so clean and good also. Even the spa was great. Swimming pool was clean and they have also pool for the kids. Breakfast also awesome. I love this hotel.

Room is very nice, big welcome hall, but food is normal. Guys service at food palace is not professional and lazy to moving around for cleaning and ask customer needed.
Japanese restaurant inside hotel is very nice and great food. Service is the most perfect there but price is high :)
Swimming pool is so so.

Three things that I love so much from this hotel are the service, the super open space lobby, and the food. The service is so impressive from check in to check out. The lobby is so beautiful with high ceiling greenery facade and modern Javanese inspired for its interior. Also the food, you can find so many good and super delicious foods in its restaurant, from Japanese cuisine to Indian food, and from selected wine to sweet good gelato, you'll be satisfied.

Been here for several meeting occasions. Never stayed in the hotel, but the Japanese restaurant and the lobby lounge have left me with very good impressions. Stuffed with live music, the lounge is best for meeting sessions or casual stuff. Yoshi Izakaya, the Japanese restaurant, offers very legit tepanyakis and one of the best edamames around. Despite limited parking space, the service is very good and dependable.

Love this 5 stars hotels. Lovely gym, nice room, spacious bathroom, strategic location, 5 stars breakfast. Unfortunately the swimming pool is not as good as I expected
