The room photos totally different from the actual conditions of the room. dirtiest n smelliest room I have ever stayed in.Unfriendly, impolite front desk staffs. No smilling, no courtesy. It was horrible experience,i wish the management will look into this and no one will become the next victim.anyway, I will never return to this hotel. So disappointed,not worth the money spent!

Receptionists were super rude and not helpful at all. I made booking through Ctrip and it was confirmed but they were claiming that it wasn't. I even showed them the confirmation. After arguing for a while they said me to wait and clarify things with Ctrip. After waiting 40mins, when I asked what's going on they basically said it's system error and they forgot to tell me. They kept me waiting and didn't even bother to tell me! And then they started laughing at me under their table. Then I said that I wanna meet their manager to complain about this behaviour, but guess what all of sudden they got available room for me. Idiots!

First the good things: friendliness and helpfulness of people in reception and **WiFi** were truly great.

However, rooms really need renovation, they feel dated and no matter how much effort into cleaning the staff would put - they always feel not clean. Also, during lower temperatures the rooms are really cold with no way to heat them up. And finally, the only window in the room has a milky glass and it's not possible to see through…

The location is very good, with many things in a walkable distance. MTR station is also not far.

To sum up: WiFi was fantastic, but I probably wouldn't stay there again as there's a bunch of better options for a similar price nearby.

It's a low price guesthouse close to bus stops and Wan Chai subway. It's near the China Embassy and Hong Kong Convention Centre. The rooms condition are below 3 star hotels but better than private rooms of many youth hostels. However, it does not have lift. It might not be good if you carry a heavy luggage.The price of a room is low and is suitable for budget backpackers. It's close to the pubs at Lockhart Road and Star Street. Some people may join the Hong Kong pub crawl on Wednesday and Thursday and go to Lan Kwai Fong. Some may simply go to the 7-Eleven shop near LKF and chat with other backpackers there.

Shockingly SMALL. My travel dates were too near for other good deals - so had to choose this hotel (Mingle by the Park which is next door, NO ELEVATOR, STAIRS UP TO THE 5TH FLOOR). My room, 5th floor, no joke. Opened the door and I only had the bed and enough space to roll my baggage in. The reception staff seemed to not care, and only wanted the 500hkd deposit. :(
I wanted to take a nap and the housekeeping ladies kept talking so loudly I opened the door to let them know I'm here and ask if they could keep it down but NO ENGLISH.
I was staying at a different hotel for the past two days, and I payed the same price (unluckily had to move..) but Mingle by the Park was a horrible decision

Relatively cheap compared to most hotels near wanchai. The room is typical hong kong, very tiny! The sink is barely wide enough to put your head over, you definitely cant wash your face over the sink. Te wifi is ok and the bed is alright as long as you are not tall. Location is super convenient though.

I stayed at their sister hotel mingle by the park, which is nearby and is a very cheap and nice room if you need just a night stay. If you're taller than 5.8 then the beds in Mingle by the park may be a bit short for you. Not sure about mingle with the Stars though
