Expect to be packed full with Mainland Chinese visitors, but since the rooms were refurnished, this hotel offers one of the most convenient location in the heart of 'downtown' Kowloon. Cleanliness is 4 out of 5, when you considered othering boarding choices in Mongkok and Prince Edward area, this is a 5-star haven. The location also offers bus lines crossing the 24-hour operated border to China or going direct to various cities and towns in the Guangdong province. Food choices are good in 1-block radius, actually when you go south towards Mongkok, its all mediocre fast-food.

A generally good place to stay. The view could be better, but there are good restaurants all around.

Pros: clean-looking and good value.

So-so: Staff can be hit or miss. Good and friendly service from some, not so good from others. One cleaning lady was happy to talk to us and introduce some restaurants, but one cleaning man simply said to use the hotel restaurants.

Cons: Rooms are noisy. Some rooms have shared doors, so you can hear your neighbors pretty well. Some staff don’t clean well enough. Our cups hadn’t been cleaned since the day before we got here. Imagine drinking from a cup someone else had drunk from! Plus some things in the room (shower mat, hot-water maker) were still wet from the previous guests. Beds are really small, too, and when we tried to book a double queen, we got a double twin.

Just next to Prince Edward MTR, location wise is superb! Supermarkets just across the road, restaurants too! Room is clean and comfortable although my request for one king bed wasn't accepted and I got a 2 bedder.

Nice clean room, with free coffee, tea, water and even coke. Toiletries are provided. There are 2 elevators which are sufficient, unless 1 is in maintenance. We were upgraded so the room waa big enough. There are restaurants here, but we were unable to try it Staff are busy but helpful to answer your questions.

Good location with so many eating places within walking distance. And it’s easy to get around using the MTR which had a station a few meters from the hotel.

Details of my family's experience at this hotel.
Upon Entry:
We were greeted by the friendly concierge, who were very patient with us and gave us a great overview of the building. When we entered our room, everything was organized and well taken care of.
Next Day:
Housekeeping had replenished the towels and bedsheets we'd used that night, and due to the amount of smoke we smelled in our room, I let the concierge know that we'd need to switch rooms. That was managed very quickly and things got better from then.
Transportation and Nearby Attractions:
Transportation was managed easily, the metro is close by, it's not far from stores, restaurants, and popular attractions. It's also by the airport, so coming to Hong Kong and going back was taken care of.

Room was abit small but still pretty comfy. The Staff were all friendly and nice. The breakfast could be improved by changing the food options every other day but overall it was still pretty good.

Located near to Prince Edward station, Metropark Hotel Mongkok provides convenient access to the rest of Hong Kong. The standard rooms was a bit too tiny for me, however the premier room was nicely sized for me. I personally feel that the breakfast buffet could have been better, but otherwise it is reasonable for its price.

Good small hotel, extremely busy throughout the day. Close proximity to mtr Prince Edward Rooms r clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful We had a break option includedbreakfast got boring after day two as they had the same stuff on the menu Overall a very good experience

Small rooms, but clean and well located. Useful for good restaurants nearby (One Dim Sum especially). Close to Prince Edward MTR station. Use exit C2 for the hotel and cross the street to the right.

The rooms are clean with complimentary drinks. The staff are very friendly and informative. They were able to upgrade our room so that was a nice surprise. There's no elevator service to the 13th floor so you will have to walk up the stairs from 12th but it's a quick walk. There is a small gym for guests only on the 3rd floor.

Had an excelent stay. The rooms are very clean. The staff are helpful although limited english. Booked via booking dot com. Becareful once you book it is not refundable.

Good and affordable place. Located near the prince edward mtr and the vicinity of mong kok. Just rememebr to ask for room ugrades to overlooking the back where it is quiter and the rooms are newer.

Really great stay, the rooms spotless and for the price we paid space was decent. Close to local shops and nearby bus stop serviced to airport. Their dim sum wasn't great but service was good even during typhoon.

The location is near the Prince Edward MTR station and there are affordable restaurants nearby including McDonalds if you're not used to eat chinese food. The rooms are comfortable enough considering that in Hong Kong thete is a scarcity of space. Room is clean. There is cable TV, a personal ref and a safe.

Good.located Hotel with very helpful and nice staff.
The rooms seem to have been redone recently.
So the bathrooms are very nice too.
Comfy beds with good pillows.
Our room was just abit loud because the rooms are not very well insulated from each other so you can hear every word from neighbouring rooms.
Side facts: slow elevator and pretty decent coffee in the lobby.

Nice clean hotel and in very good location. Short walk to MTR Price Edward and many good local entries. Shower is roomy and water strength is strong too. Don't expect any good view fr the widow though. Otherwise thumbs up. Will stay again on my next trip.

Great place, especially for the price. Right in the heart of Mongkok and the subway is literally at your doorstep. My room was a closet but I can't say I really wanted for anything.

Great location and well maintained hotel. Only negatives was the airport shuttle communication wasn't clear and the wifi is a bit slow. But would definitely recommend !
