It used to be a favorite to go for me and my daughtersbut I really feel they are slacking a lot!

Understaffed, not flexible staff (Afraid because of cameras they might be fired if they do something that serves a client request (2 flavors in 1 scoop of ice-cream my daughters requested!)
Seems outdated to train staff with "fear" instead of giving them space to be flexible and please clients)

The whole place also does not feel clean and their in-house toilets are just terrible

Food we had was good.

Clearly understaffed on a Saturday lunchtime, although what staff they did have were trying their best in the circumstances. Ordered a bacon and egg bagel and had to chase the order. When it was delivered the fried egg was stone cold, as was the bacon - clearly it'd been sitting in the kitchen but the waiting staff of 1 was too busy to fetch it. Presentation of the food also wasn't great, the bagels are not what I'd call full size. A shame, with a bit of help and more staff could be a lot better.

A recent internal upgrade plus accomodating staff who wait on tables has improved this coffee drinking venue. However open plan concept leads to a greater increase in noise levels in the F & B areas. Not ideal if you're trying to hold a private conversation or reading in peaceful environment!. Trying to be heard over coffee making activities is painful . Hence a 4 star.

Loved every minute of my time there. The best coffee and ice cream in the world, especially ice cream. Cant wait to go back again.

Service is terrible. Dont wait to be seated, just grab any empty seat u see in d front or else others will take it anyway while u wait to be seated. Waited 10 minutes for a table until someone bothered with us. The waiter said, i can give u a seat but the food will come in an hour. WTH???

A quite out of the way spot good for discussions and chilling out with friends. There's ample seating, including a 1st floor that is usually not occupied (the few times I was there). The coffee is good.

Service was friendly and quite quick.
I ordered simple New Yorker bagel. Ok, but I wouldn't rush back for it.
Perhaps I'll go back for an ice cream sometime

Use to be hugely popular when it first opened. Great ice cream, pretty good coffee, but they really need to update the seating. Too old to be comfortable. A low cost refresh would boost this back up to a 5*

Ate my breakfast on a dirty table. They didn't clean up the various colored ice cream spills from the night before. Sticky and gross, but delightful for the cockroach that joined me for my meal (not kidding).

Also, when I ordered breakfast and a coffee, the cashier asked if I wanted to try different beans. I unenthusiastically replied "sure" and she immediately snuck her fingers to the price up-charge button. When I confronted her about increasing my price without notifying me, she was extremely embarrassed. I wonder how many times they've gotten away with this one. It was small money, but the deception is not right.

Horrible experience all around.
