Visited this local institution for the first time to celebrate my mum's birthday and was greatly disappointed by the poor customer service. When we walked in (with a booking), the managers only greeted the customer behind us, who we assumed must be a regular. We had similar experiences again during service and when we left, made me wonder if we were invisible to the staff.

For lunch we ordered a mix of dim sum and main dishes from the menu, which came to a total of HK$1,3200. The food was good quality but not spectacular. If you are not after the brand name, I recommend going elsewhere without the price tag and being treated like nobody.

They call it the tycoon's canteen, but if you steer clear of exotic items, it's much more reasonable. The sucking pig is a must try!

A famous place for its famous cooks and famous customers. Very expensive and suitable for grand events. They can customize menu and even cater for how one likes a dish. Unfinished wine can be left there for future use by the customer, given that repeating patriots come back for overall dinning experience rather than just the food alone.

Pricey but delicious dim-sum restaurant. Try the famous BBQ pork and go with a group to try alot of dishes! Avoid going during dinner (or be prepared to wait!). One of the best restaurants I went to in Wan Chai!

A must visit while you are in Hong Kong, the eatery of the rich and famous. But at the same time they do have reasonable price dishes. The Service is second to none. The food are of a good standard.

Excellent food, if a little pricey. We ordered a suckling pig three days ahead, and it was delicious - crispy and succulent. We did not eat th head and it was funny that the staff came running after us with the head in a bag. He was very thankful when we said he could have it and said he would cook it with porridge.

Horrible place, usually when I am here their service were pretty good, however today was bad. I made a reservation, given a bad table, staff with an attitude. Most of the tables were empty but they refuse to change, reason given those were reserved for customers who came daily!! What's the point of reservation than? Customers are not equal?

Opened at 11.30am but barley and etc are not ready until 12.20pm!!!

Very fine classics Cantonese restaurant we always visit on our trip to Hong Kong. We made a reservation via email in advance. Gentle service. Excellent food. I never miss Char Siu and Hagao here. You can order a mix plater of Char Siu(BBQ Pork) and Siu Yuk (crispy pork). I always wish I have more space for the other offerings.

Generally regarded by local gourmets as the leading up market Cantonese restaurant in Hong Kong, it has one Michelin Star instead of three, and nobody cares. But the general feeling is that the standards have gone down in recent years, perhaps as a result of the business family fragmenting over a long running feud and chefs move away. I don't know enough because I don't frequent it enough. It puts me off to have to fight the teams of bodyguards and press with camera to catch celebrity patrons caught in the middle of some scandal, which is most of the time.
I was there recently, at a lavish celebration banquet. One of the dishes that I have not had before was birds nest stuffed inside a pigs stomach and steamed for hours on end, then served in a chicken broth with a bit of the chicken. There was general complaints from gourmet friends that evening, that this tightly packed birds nest is not the real stuff, and the soup was too salty. Well, I found it excellent.
This really is the place to come to for sharksfin soup, birds nest soup and the rest of it. A single serving of sharrksfin soup will set you back USD $130. So you can imagine what some expensive dishes will cost. But this is the place that you do feel if you have to ask you cannot afford it. Oh well.

Very high class restaurant. Never seen anything like it! Mixing the elegance of western fine dining with traditional Chinese cuisine was excellent. Had a very interesting dish with Chinese peppercorn which gave my mouth a very pleasant numbing sensation. It is defiantly worth a try if you come to Hong Kong.

Fairly elegant but not stuffy Cantonese restaurant with excellent service by friendly wait staff and very tasty food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying in the Wan Chai area. Each dish was distinct and tasty. We especially loved their version of crispy duck. I only wish there were more of us at the dinner so we could have tasted more of their dishes. Somewhat expensive but worth it for a special night out.$200 US for 4 dishes plus a bottle of wine.
