Sotabol is a very typical and standard Korean restaurant. Most choices are above average in quality and taste. Staffs are serving in nice manner. In lunch time, it serves pumpkin congee and vegetable salad, which everyone loves once tried. It also offers a membership card, you may enjoy 15% discount and free meal coupon according to your mileage.

It’s an OK Korean restaurant- service is rather basic (took a while to get the wine list), wine glasses were not really clean, food served (we ordered hot dishes from the menu no BBQ) was authentic but a bit tasteless, atmosphere rather plain and woody/old fashioned. Prices were good- 900 for 3 people incl wine, so in total not bad for a casual dinner.

My Korean friends introduced me to this place.
I always vouch for restaurants where if REAL
Koreans go there must be good. My Korean friends say it’s the best Korean restaurant in HK. I’ve been to Korea a few times so I do agree and think the flavors are all there.

All my Korean friends come here a lot and they invite me sometime. They say its the only "real" korean restaurant in HK. I think it is true. When there are real Koreans in the restaurant, then u know it must be pretty authentic. The lunch sets are good value. Also it is Korean run, not fake like some other Korean restaurant.

Korean BBQ is nice but expensive especially top grade beef and squid. The hot pot is ok and the add on noodle taste good but again very expensive. Service is not too bad under well prepare of poor comment.

My god, this place get a one star from me due to service. The food was good and same was drinks. But the staff was horrific, they rushed us and sat around in the different booths lokking grumpy. Stay away from this place. (The lady at the front was the only one smiling, she was ok, but all the rest of them was very bad..very)

Inconsistent service. Food sometimes comes with soup sometimes not. Sometimes the food comes out fast sometimes need to wait 30-45 minutes. Food is good overall.

Awful service. The wiz staff stares at you in conveniencing you and rushing you. Then they laugh and play in a booth right next to you. Just terrible and rude. Food was gross.

I would give this place a 4-star if the staff was more polite. I came here with my friends who were visiting HK. We were "served" rudely by those non-local waitresses. They rushed us to order when we were still deciding. As a customer, I do not want to come here again to be "served" by those waitresses, because I seriously did not feel any respect from the way they served me. But food was great! Love their seafood stone pot rice! The side dishes were special and kinda tasty. I just hope the owner is aware of his/her staff's attitudes and train them how to serve.
