Fine hotel, right in the middle of Grab Via, close to the Royal palace and other attractions.

There is a constant machine noise during the night which could be disturbing for some people. However the place is confortable and the breakfast wonderfull!

Very centrally located. Grand Via, shopping hub, walking distance to the Oriente Plaza, behind hotel is the local mercato, awesomely fresh Iberico ham and local small eating joints. Tryp has the best breakfast and friendly staffs.

The rooms are ok. The breakfast is also ok. But there is too much street noise. Windows don't close properly.

Even thou the Hotel is excellent located on Gran Via, this was our worse experience we had on a vacation trip. The room we were offered even thou big had a damaged safe and the heating system was not working.
We were then offered a smaller room but the heating system did not work there properly too. The buttons that control the temperature did not react.
So we decided to leave the hotel for a nearby one and were fined for two nights out of our original 7 nights booking.

The hotel is in a good location in Gran Via, the rooms are clean and quite modern. The beds are okay, not super nice, and the pillows are the classic Spanish kind (big and hard). The bathroom was big and in good condition. We paid extra for an exterior room with balcony. This balcony was huge and the view over the busy street was great, especially at night!
