Spotlessly clean throughout, the staff were really friendly and efficient and the entertainment was great.
The buffet was lovely, and everything was hot not just luke warm. The variety was second to none and catered for all tastes.
The bedrooms were clean and tidy throughout and the bathrooms were again spotless and came with free toiletries.
The drinks prices are incredibly cheap. A bottle of Amstel is 1.60€ a pint of later 2.30€.
It's location is great. 2 minutes from the beach and right in the middle of some great entertainment places.opposite is Neptunes Bar ( from the TV show Benidorm).Morgan's Tavern, which have some fantastic tribute artists.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel without hesitation and intend going back there on my next visit to Benidorm.response / report this review -

First time at this hotel and we weren’t disappointed good food first class rooms and entertainment the staff were really friendly and helpful just made our stay more enjoyable going back sometime this year have a look this is the view from our balcony

Just back from staying 11nights in this hotel, staff were really friendly and helpful, food brilliant, plenty of choice, rooms very clean, always sunbeds available anytime of day. Will definitely be back

Stayed here for one week half board from the 15th to 22nd April and cannot fault the service from the staff the cleanliness of the whole hotel the great food with loads of choices and the security knowing no one could walk in of the street and go anywhere other than reception as you needed your room keycard to activate the lifts the public area toilets and the door out to the pool I would definatley stay here the next time I visit Benidorm I feel it's more a 5 star service than a 3 star plus well done servigroup calypso

Staff always friendly. Meals excellent quality and plenty to choose from. Very quiet. Would highly recommend. Key card access to pool and lifts, good security.

My mum, Mrs Maureen Edment visited this hotel for 4 weeks in November and 2 weeks in March/April, every year for 15 years at least. She was treated like a Superstar at every visit and made to feel special by every member of staff. She hadn't been keeping well since her February visit, was tired and washed out. I got a call from a doctor at Monklands Hospital, to say that mum had cancer of the Intestinal tract and Liver cancer. She was given 6 weeks to live and lasted 10 weeks. She absolutely adored this hotel and would travel to Benidorm, rather than come down to South Wales to visit her daughter and grandkids. She was independant and stubborn but alway did things as she wanted to, not bad for an 89 year old. Thanks to staff at The Calypso Hotel, Benidorm for caring for my wee mum. I will come and visit the hotel to see just what mum saw. Lots of love Aileen Devaney, Wee Mo's daughter.
