I had written a positive review about this hotel, but sadly, following the final day of my stay, I had to change my opinion as I for one would never stay at this hotel again.
I had to miss breakfast on the last day as I had to spend the morning desperately close to the toilet, and having only eaten at the hotel, can only assume that it was something I had eaten there. I had also eaten different food to my partner, and so was able to assume the problem dish. This was an inconvenience, but is sometimes understandable, and so would not necessarily have affected my opinion. However, after a long wait for the lift in order to finally check out, there are not enough lifts by the way and so ended up struggling down the stairs with luggage having finally given up, we reached reception.
It was at this point that the girl on reception said that we had not paid for drinks at dinner and so would have to settle the bill. We had paid cash the night before, for the 2 beers we drank, the same as every other night, but this payment had not been registered by them and so they were effectively calling us thieves.
I had previously commented how the "Staff are friendly and attentive", but on the last evening they were not at all attentive, spending most of the time huddled together talking. One guest even had to ask a chef to help them get drinks. Perhaps this was where the confusion arose, and not that the transaction was not recorded for another more sinister reason, such as a scam which had been reported on another travel site. I can only assume that the payment wasn´t recorded because of their inattentiveness, not through theft. That said, to then be accused of theft for their incompetence is not acceptable.
I had also reported that being a vegetarian meant the food choice was very limited but there was always something available, a variant of eggs with potatoes usually.
I would have recommended this hotel but now I will never stay here again and would urge anybody to reconsider until the hotel accounts for the actions and attitude of the staff.response / report this review -

just stayed a week couldnt fault it at all, food was great good choices. rooms very clean and my 4 year old made a friend called lola one of the waitreses made us feel very welcome

Just arrived but impressed already. My room is just right for me and a great view of the beach and the whole of Benidorm. The bathroom is superb and a large shower. Pool area is a nice size. In the quiet side of town and a long walk to the other side of town. The restaurant is large and I enjoyed the food that was on offer.

This is a 3 star hotel. You wouldn't be able to tell it from a 4☆
It's very clean well decored. All the staff are friendly. Breakfast is fantastic choice. & evening meals are superb. We came half board & can't fault it the rooms are great. Beach is a 5 minute walk down a slightly graded hill but the beach is a brilliant fine & sandy with plenty of sunloungers available @ a small cost fantastic view from this bottom end of Benidorm plenty going on & just a 5 minute bus ride to the old town of Benidorm

One of the best views in Benidorm in quieter area away from the loud music. Still there is anything you may need close by: Mercadona supermarket, pharmacy, beach shops, restaurants and bars. But I would still come every year only for the food: well freshly cooked, uncomplicated all-you-can-eat buffet with Spanish and international dishes always including at lunchtime a properly made paella of some kind. Yummy!
The amazing views come at a price though, the hotel is only a few meters away from the beach but on top of a very steep hill. There are steps to get down to the beach but I prefer the easier long way around.
At the beach there is a public library under a gazebo and facilities for bathing wheelchair users.
The staff is very friendly and hard working and during the summer there are children entertainers.
The rooms are basic but nice and clean with air conditioning, hair drier, fridge and safe (key available at reception for a fee).
The swimming pool is a decent size but in the summer gets really busy.response / report this review -

Wonderful room but had to fight to get it as having booked from a description was told that was only an indication and we were allocated a smaller darker room. Reception were great about making the change and all was well. Breakfast excellent but dinner was cold and not very exciting

Our first night was quite nice, rooms are clean and well kept. Food is okay, good selection and food quality. Pool is warmed and salt water, very enjoyable. Would recommend.

The hotel was warm and welcoming the staff were excellent. After an initial move from an unsuitable room our room was perfect and had the double bed we had requested on our original application. The rooms were clean and maintained to a high standard.
The food was fantastic and so much choice. All in all an enjoyable stay.response / report this review
