Too expensive for the individual room. I ended up in a corner with a view to the wall and the room stank the first day.

Conveniently located for all means or access to modes of transportation in and around Madrid. Though a bit pricey, a great breakfast offering every morning that we feel well worth the cost. Clean and well maintained competitive priced. hotel. For us its proximity to the Museum del Prado and all the other primary museums have made it my stay of choice.

We stayed in three different NH Hotels while in Spain and this had THE BEST front desk staff that we experienced of all of them. While our room was TINY, we regret only being able to stay here one evening. Paola was a dream as well as two other gentlemen (I apologize for forgetting their names)! I really wish that these people trained all the other staff at the other NHs that have more hotel star ratings. They were professional, friendly and most importantly unpretentious. I am sure hotel staff suffer from some terrible and less-than-ideal guests but judging a guest before even knowing him/her (like at the one in Barcelona) is highly distasteful. Keep up the great service Hotel NH Madrid Atocha! Muchos gracias! My family is very grateful for your welcoming and thoughtful service!

The hotel and room were very clean, and the shower was incredible! You are roughly a 1 minute walk to the main Madrid train station! The staff were friendly and super helpful by checking us in within minutes
