They stole 60$ in my room and multiple other customers also reportes that money was missing, I do not recommend coming to this hotel.

Beautiful place! Beach is awesome! Plenty to do during the day! Nightlife is a little dull though not alot of adult party's or things to do! Mostly kids at nightclubs.👎

My daughter went on the group run and Hugo was the running coordinator for that run. My daughter had an asthma attack and had to slow down. The group left her and Hugo said he gave her 'directions' on how to return to the resort, but never return to make sure she was safe. A guy started to follow her in a truck requesting she get in his truck. She was scared to death. The phone service was spotty and I was trying to figure out her location, with the help of the bell service. She was eventually able to find her way back. Upon arrival Hugo said it wasn't his responsibility to make sure the entire group returned as he had another group to take out at 9:00. The 9:00 group was still congregated in the lobby when she eventually found her way back.
He then proceeded to mock and laugh at her with his other group.
I WILL NEVER be returning to Club Med!!!!!!!!!response / report this review -

Very bad service. All restaurants close early. Not much variety of wine. 90 percent staff does not speak or understand English. They don't even understand Google translate Spanish. The first word come out of their mouth for any request is NO. They don't even supply bottled water on tennis courts. You personally have to get up and go to bar to have any drink. No poolside service. The rooms are stincky and have no refrigerator. I would not stay here again. And killer part is that they do not have COCONUT water.

Rooms are filthy, staff couldn’t be less helpful, and management couldn’t be less invisible. Only saving grace is that the kids camp. Look elsewhere if you don’t want attitude on your vacation.

Amazing holidays, really awesome when you have kids! The staff is great, professional and fun. The mini-club is amazing and you can leave your kids their with a maximum peace of mind. Lots of activities during the day, you really don't get bored.

After 30 years, I was so excited to return to punta cana Club Med, and share my favorite memories with my children. I'm sorry to say, I was thoroughly disappointed. As an adult, the liquor is beyond sub par, the food selections are basic, at best. The food is actually difficult to come by, too. At 5pm, looking for an appetizer??? Nothing! The bartender slipped us a bag of Lays potato chips! Seriously! We declined, and he brought a vegetable wrap, who's smelled of onion. See photo. There is a conference here, so we were shut out of 1 of the 3 restaurants, the only table service restaurant, 2 of our first 4 nights.
To say I am disappointed in the food and beverage is an understatement.
Let's talk Kids club. If you have little ones, they are well taken care of. Our children are 9 and 13. They have a great counselor who escorts them to their activities, but they don't have a space like the little ones. There's no teen club, as advertised. I am super disappointed, and feel so deceived. To pay the $ we did for this week is ridiculous. I would not recommend this resort. I'm sorry to say so, but I have to spare you from wasting your money. 😕response / report this review -

I stayed at the Zen oasis the VIP area of this resort. In comparison to the other 3 resorts, I have stayed at while in DR, this resort was by far, the worst but cost the most!
The food options were very limited. During lunch they would leave cooked food and snacks out by the pool, uncovered for the flys to feast on. No hot food was available on the room service menu at all!
On day 3 of my stay, I figured out why.. There were roaches everywhere!! In my beach front suite as well as in the main dining hall. When I complained about the ROACHES, to a manager in the dining hall, I was told that they were aware and were exterminate the resort 3x a week!! Stay away complete rip off. This is a lovely resort with friendly staff, however, we see women swimming and sunbathing topless daily. We brought our four kids here (15, 13, 11, 9) and have to help them navigate the area without looking up at the nakedness. Club Med should designate an area for topless activity and allow families to have a safe place to enjoy the beach. Very disappointing.

Great place and service!
We travelled with 5 months old baby so used also the Baby Club for several hours per day. The play room was a bit empty and warm and i didn't see much activities/toys for babies of this age. Might be boring for children to stay there the whole day, but worked well for us and allowed us to have also couple holidays.
Need to admit that for older children the animation is great and they have big swimming pools children friendly.response / report this review -

I just returned from this Club Med Saturday and although I had a good time, I had many problems getting around which limited which activities I could do. No one told me just how far away all the restaurants and activities are from the Zen Oasis adult only area. I have problems walking long distances and really had to rely on the "buggies' to get around. The drivers were very inconsistent about picking me up and I was often forced to walk (very painful for me). The Zen Oasis area is so expensive that I simply do not understand why it doesn't have its own restaurant and transport. Also, I was very disappointed with the beach. It had so much sea weeds and rocks that I only went in twice! (Thank God for the beautiful Zen Oasis pool). Moreover, there were very few Americans and I had problems meeting new people. This has never happened to me before. I always travel alone and do Club Med because I meet so many wonderful people. I had to eat almost every meal by myself! In the past, a lovely hostess would sit you at a table with other English speaking people. Why has Club Med stopped doing this? It was an excellent way to meet new people and you never had to deal with the humiliation and loneliness of eating alone. On a more positive note, the food was very good and I loved eating at the main restaurant over looking the ocean. The breeze was wonderful and the scenery tranquil. Another positive note worth mentioning was just how good the tennis instructors, especially Andre, and the fitness instructors were. Their energy, expertise, and enthusiasm really made this trip for me. Another thing that really made this trip for me was my ROOM!! I LOVED my Zen Oasis room and hated leaving it. (I, however, still think that it is over priced). Overall, I would do this Club Med again if the price was reduced, if I had my family or a friend with me, and if I could somehow rent my own golf cart to get around in.

This place is gorgeous! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly! A lot of the staff comes from Montreal so they speak both French and English! Located right on a beautiful white sand beach! The water is a gorgeous blue! It's the perfect place for a family or romantic getaway!

Amazing location, accommodation is below what I would expect for the money.
Kids club is brilliant for 2's and over.

LOVE THIS CLUB MED!! So fun, clean, lots of exercise classes on the beach, great for all ages!! Beach is perfect, water is very clean and clear, activities and shows are great. GOs are fantastic and make you feel at home. Food is very good. I just wish there were more à la carte restaurants.

Perfect for a family or couple vacation. Their Creative areas is such a great concept and amazing as an extra activity available for the clients. Their excursions are very well thought through and I would totally recommend them. The people and activities are the nautical center were pretty great. The only problem we encountered during our trip was with the food. There are three restaurants in the club and only the Indigo bar has decent food the other two are pretty awful.

The Punta Cana Is really the best of the best. The beach is amazing I have been there 5 times and it just keeps getting better and better the food is extremely good and the bars at the beach and pools are amazing!! (I love it so much that Iwould live there)!!! (:

Where to begin
This resort has wonderful potential. The room layout is perfectly fine for a beach vacation. The pool is great (but for the fact it needs resurfaced as it leaves a cut up foot in too many spots in the pool), location is great, and food is excellent for an all inclusive resort. The kids club looked pretty good as well. Activities are wonderful and the gym is great. They also don't overpack the resort with people which is really nice.
The negatives - service quality was terrible. Housekeeping left broom bristles (at least 10 per day) on our floor post sweeping. Didn't refill the soap or shampoo amenities, etc. also this is the first all inclusive resort where they don't stock the refrigerator with at least a few bottles of cheap beer and low end wine - very important especially in kid friendly resorts where your kids are passed out by 7pm. My other favorite is that I left the empty Kleenex box out on the sinkguess whether it was replaced???
Front desk might as well not even have a staff. We asked 4x for our air conditioner in our room to be fixed, tub plug to get fixed, and light bulbs in the room fixed. After 4x, we gave up. By the way, you wait at least 10 mins in the front desk line to get to speak to one of the staff. So when I needed housekeeping simply to bring more towels, when I called the front desk to make the requestwell as you might imagine housekeeping didn't show up.
Language - if you don't speak French, you're at a material disadvantage at this resort. The staff really don't like talking in English and you never know if you're getting through to them. My personal favorite is that I took a spin class (10 bikes, of which 2 broken) and the instructor surveyed the class (we had 8 English only speakers and 2 French / English speakers)class was 2/3 French and 1/3 English. By the way the official language of club med is no longer French
At any rate, will we come back. Maybe. I prefer other all inclusive over this experience.response / report this review -

Really great for family holiday.
You got everything you need in the club, and the food is very nice. The GO team is helpful and energetic (even in low season) which makes it even better.
We loved it and our 9 month old daughter as well.
On the low side only 2 things:
- normal accommodation could do with a bit of upgrading
- activities not included are way too expensive (fortunately a lot of included)response / report this review
