I checked in and checked out a few minutes later! The room was dated, in need of proper maintenance and the airconditioning was noisy. And when I requested for a change to the room, the receptionist said that air conditioners in all rooms make the same noise so she can't help me which got me furious. I complained to the booking company and walked out of the hotel. Don't recommend to anyone and won't be giving any more than 2 stars for this hotel.
Location was good, reception staff were polite and the rooms were clean. On the downside, the rooms were quite cold at night with very thin single duvets on the 2 pushed together single beds (of slightly different heights and came apart if you lay in the middle). The smell from the Lebanese restaurant (which also doubled as the bar!?) permeated the landings. Was perfectly functional, but basic and certainly not of a 4 star standard.
Great location and a well kept hotel. Had an overnight layover in Frankfurt and this hotel worked out great!
Hot water works very quickly. Good breakfast with salmon & you can make your own boiled eggs.
Great location, near restaurants (with vegan options) and a grocery store. Clean and comfortable rooms! Friendly staff!
Poor hotel. Cheap decor, dated rooms, only thing positive is that it is cheap.
Bit disappointing place. Good location but that is all it has to offer.
Unfriendly front desk, no help with luggage, economy room sounded Super Economy!! Hardly any place. Room cleaning lady took the euros and coins kept on the table.
Other Ramada's that I have stayed in the past has a different experience. This one is just an ordinary hotel with the name Ramada.
However it's pretty close to Hauptbahnhof which is a good thing, but the hotel is right in the red light area, so it is not so great to walk about in the night
If I wanted to stay in a hospital sized room, I would have broken my leg and stayed that way; it wouldn't have costed €141 Euros in that regard. My "room" was literally a cupboard. It had one radiator - in the bathroom, so it was freezing cold for the entire duration. The only light in the room was a lamp on top of the cupboard and a small desk light attached to the wall next to the bed. The plugs were also poorly positioned, meaning you could really only use one (the one by the bed). The only real positive to this hotel was the lovely reception staff. Don't think I'll be staying in this hotel if I were to come back to Frankfurt.
Excellent location near the main train station and close to a variety of shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the old town and the riverfront. Being in a wheelchair this hotel offered the right amenities I needed (grab bars near shower and toilet, laminate flooring, low bed to transfer). Overall hotel was easy to navigate. Helpful and friendly staff as well.
