Excellent Location - Nice and cozy hotel in the heart of Munich city center. Perfect for people who want to visit Munich and walk to the main bavarian sights and restaurants. Definitely recommend it.

Lovely little boutique hotel right in the middle of the pedestrian area. The rooms are pleasant and comfortable. Everything is very clean and well kept, and the staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. We really appreciated the early check-in after a long flight. Fantastic location right near the Victualienmarkt and Marienplatz.

My husband and I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, our room overlooked the Viktualienmarkt, and some of the best restaurants we found were just next door. It's also only a 5 minute walk to the Marienplatz and Sbahn and Ubahn stations. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Situated next to a lovely market you can have you meals at while enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. The rooms are a little on the small side and the sound from the street does come in through the window. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable and I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location - Friendly international staff
Recommended for Business or City travel.
The hotel is located in the heart of the old city center of Munich just beside the Viktualienmarkt and 3 min. walking from the Marienplatz where you can reach the S8 and S8 directly to the Airport and also to other public transport options like Metro, Taxis, Rikschas/BikeTaxis to visit this beautiful Bavarian City. Totally recommend to visit the restaurant in the hotel for their daily fresh Bavarian lunch menu. Rooms are clean and cozy. Best price-quality.response / report this review -

The location is very good. The staff is friendly. We booked a standard double and found the room to be smaller than expected -approx 11×12ft. The room is clean. The beds remind me of the mattresses in college. The bathroom only has a shower and basic amenities. Be advised that this is a location where there is much activity. If you have difficulty sleeping with a lot of street noise you may have an issue until everything closes. I did not see a/c cooling. There is a heater -but the evenings are very cool in August so you can open the window. Overall, if you need a place to stay for 1 night this could be an option for you.

Hotel is situated awesome. Close to everything. You can buy fresh what ever you want in near by markt. Room is little bit smaller. Bath is even greater than room. But convenient. Strong 3-star hotel with 50E per person. Next stop in Munich with 70% will be at these hotel.

Very close to city center, so convenient for anywhere you'd like to go in Munich. Beautiful, older building kept up nicely in a quiet square. Great food across the street- breakfast was expensive at 12 euro. Also Richart is close by with coffee and pastries. Very charming place in an impossible to beat location. Would recommend to anyone!

The hotel is in an old building, so the quarters were not spacious. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful. We got excellent recommendations for local restaurants, and help booking a taxi when we left, which is why I gave Service a "very good". And the location can't be beat. It's only a block form the Marienplatz, so the location is top-notch.
The only criticism I have concerns small details of the breakfast buffet. I do enjoy a cup of strong black tea in the morning. The hotel ran out of black tea on Tuesday, and for the rest of the week, no black tea. Guests who came to breakfast after 9 a.m. were given scrambled eggs, which were never offered to us (we were always down before 8 a.m.) I missed the little Muelleimer on the table for paper trash that most other hotels offer, and we often had to track down salt, pepper and sugar for our table. The Asian attendants during the week were very attentive, but the German woman who managed the buffet on the weekend was very curt to us.
I would still recommend the hotel, for the location, if for no other reason.response / report this review
