I absolutely loved it here. The food and people are amazing, and the entertainment is great. The drinks are also great. The view in this place is gorgeous and the pools are very nice. Me and my family had a great experience. My only complaint is that this place is huge and there is only WiFi in the lobby. Granted my daughter is great at memorizing direction. But still things are very far apart. Extras include A/C, Theater, Reserved dining places, and tours. All in all, this place deserves 5 stars.

My experience here was beyond unbelievable. Their staff is amazing and super kind. The entertainment is wonderful as well. And their beaches. Perfect!

Spent a week with my 16 year old daughter; we had a great stay here. Beautiful beaches with a bar and two BBQ stations. A great variety at the buffet and recommend calamari and shrimp at the snack bar. The lobby area after supper is a great place to linger after dinner, music and entertainment was top notch.Rooms were very clean and the resort in general was a well. Staff are fantastic; treat people well and you'll receive it back. I will go back again.

Great resort, friendly staff, nice rooms and a beautiful beachfront. The food could have been a little better but was decent. The snack bar came in VERY handy many times on days we needed breakfast earlier than 7am.
Lobby area was nice to relax in with a cup of coffee or margarita. Best a la carte restaurant was Garibaldi (Italian). Entertainment after dinner was always great. The pool areas were well maintained.
Excellent customer service at this resortour entire trip ran smoothly with no issues at all. All in all, a fantastic trip!!response / report this review -

This was our 1st time in Cuba so nothing to compare it to but was recommended by 2 friends. We absolutely loved our time here! The beach is gorgeous with absolutely clear water, no rocks, minimal seaweed that just washes up to shore. Lots of shaded areas. Several pools to choose from as well. Our room was spacious and clean. Food was decent and apparently typical of Cuba. There is a huge selection at the buffet so bound to find something you like. No bugs anywhere. Daily shows in evening and live music in lobby. This resort is the closest one to airport and the market so shorter bus ride.
This is NOT the place to go if you want to snorkel or see Cuban culture. You come here to relax and get some sun, period. Would absolutely go again.response / report this review -

This is a 3 star resort. The management staff are not very helpful or would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I arrived healthy and got sick on day 3 of my vacation from the cigar smoke. I complained to management and they did nothing.
As a matter of fact, they put the ashtrays all over the lobby where everyone gathers at night and during the day, which means they are encouraging the smokers, while the non smokers and the children have to put up with it.
My sister got an asthma attack from the smoke. We both spent 2 and half days in our room. We only went to the restaurant in the evening for some soup which was awful and tasteless. Unfortunately, the week I was there, was so cold that I had to wear my spring jacket the whole time. At night was so cold and I couldn't stay in lobby because of the smoke, so I spent the whole vacation in my room.
On the day of leaving, I asked management if I could stay in the room until pick-up at 5pm as I was still sick and they refused. They told me I have to pay for the extra hours as check-out is 12 noon. I told them I was not feeling well and didn't want to stay in the smoky lobby for 5 hours, but they didn't care.
Our room door was not closing, so the first night we slept with the door unlocked, they changed my room the next day. My friends endured a lot worse than me. They had no hot water for a whole week, and as I said before, it was a cold week. My friend's mom is elderly and couldn't walk up the stairs on the third floor, no elevator at this resort, they weren't very accommodating to them.
The food was okay for Cuba standard, do not go to the sushi restaurant, horrible sushi. I've tried the Italian restaurant, not bad.
There is no nurse or doctor on site.
If you like to inhale smoke, be my guest, I would not recommend this resort to anyone, especially if you have children.response / report this review -

It's ok. Nothing special. Resort is well designed but food was not really good, the best is sushi 🍣 restaurant. When I was there the theatre was crazy funny. If it's bad weather is little to do.

For a relaxing holiday choose Playa Cayo Santa Maria. Great hotel staff. Lovely beach but underto currents kept swimmers in less than knee deep water. The pools we're busy and popular. The meals were great too.

All in all it was better Han good. Yet many things could have made it much better. Like paying for an upgrade for Ocean view and not getting it as we mentioned at check in, and they tried to up sell us on a luxury suite at $40 a night. Only when I went back to discuss did we get an Ocean view. Then 5 days later discovered we were in a typical suite with an ocean view and all the rooms were similar with amenities. Hence why did they try to get more money from us. No one could or would explain, language bsrrier.

Awfull hotel . Horrible service . Dirty . There was garbage bags out side our hotel room everyday . We asked to be put on the second floor . They put us at first level . There was a huge yellow stain on the bed . Front desk is useless . They didnt even have band aid . Or rubbing alcohol .when my little girl got stung by jellyfish They told me to go to hospital for minor bruise . Everytime you have a complaint the front desk is useless . The beach is biutifull .but you quickly forget the beauty when you go through the tip hungry rude beach bar . Cant go in the water without getting stung by gellyfish . The food was awfull . They say they have 3 restaurants . Wich are just fake restaurants everything comes from same kitchen . What else . my swimsuit was stolen it was hanging on our patio from my room on first floor . Dirty pools the staff looks miserable underpaid overworked . Im really sorry this was my cuba experience .im sure cuba is a biutifull country but this hotel is a nightmare .

Maybe the nicest beach I have ever been on. Good food and the place is immaculately kept. Our room had a great view out over the ocean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a lager resort so maybe a little noisier than I prefer, but I would go again.

My experience there was amazing all in all. The room was clean and the TV had some English channels for us to watch. The food was good but didn't have much variety. The beach is wonderful.

Wonderful beach. The food even if abundant has scarce quality and the room was not clean at all, in particular the bed. For a price 10 times higher than other types of accomodation I was expecting much more.

Resort is clean well maintained and staff is very friendly and courteous.There entertainment team is great, for coming every afternoon and organising games and fashion shows at the pool. it is amazing resort for adults but i wouldn't o their with kids they do have day care for kids which is awesome but they didn't have any pool toys for kids so that means i have to fill up suitcase with inflate toys for them or other entertainment stuff for them. and beach you have to climb down the rocks to get into water which is fine for adult but i wouldn't take my little ones to the beach. For adults it is awesome place. love the service and staff. Room were clean

I'd like ti give it 4.5 stars but cannot. The resort was excellent. The food was good but I could see how overly fussy people could complain.
I really think anyone should be able to find something different to eat each day that they would like.
The bus ride wasn't really that bad, especially on the way there with a 6 pack of beers you can buy right before getting on.
The resort was beautiful, clean and well kept. It might be showing some age in a few areas but it looked as though they were
in process of repairing those sections. The wifi is really the only glaring faultif you call that one. For us, it was only so we could
contact the kids to let them know we arrived safely. In the end..we just made a $2 phone call instead.
the beach is by far the best I've seen, mind you I'm only comparing it to Florida/Mexico and the Bahamas.
No bugs at all, which was fantastic. 24 hour food and drinks was very nice. Service and staff were great. Very little to complain about at all.response / report this review -

Big resort on an amazing beach. Good for the standards in the area. But food and internet are really not highlights. Also it's a bit of a tourist trap as all hotels in the area.

My best Cuba destination, once you've been there, you can't hardly go elsewhere. Price is unbeatable, food is way above usual Cuban standard. The beach at the resort is one of the best you can find (you can walk more than 100 feet in the water and still have water near your waistline!). Employee's are caring and very polite. A pearl to discover.
