Best vacation I have ever been on while staying at The Springs Resort and Spa. The food was great at all of the restaurants. Las Ventanas restaurant the food was exquisite. The rooms are beautiful. The only thing I would say is they need new mattresses. The swim up bar pool area is so fantastic. All of the hot springs are so relaxing. The view of the volcano is breath taking. All of the activities/ tours were so fun. The tubing with Club Rio was great. The staff is so nice, very welcoming and helpful. I loved Costa Rica and will definitely return to this resort.

This resort is a magical paradise! The hot springs feel amazing. The staff is extremely accommodating. Prices for food and drink are normal for a nice resort. No this isn't a all inclusive, that's ok though. Mr Lee Banks has done a wonderful Job, and we'll be back!

This place is the best! We really enjoyed our vacation here and highly recommend it. The staff, food, spa etc was great and the views were amazing. Such an awesome spot for the entire family.

We came here with a day pass (the night rates were way out of our budget). This is by far the best deal for an all-day hot springs facility in La Fortuna, when you consider the additional expenses involved (locker, etc.) Plus they had a 2-day-for-1 deal option (wish we had been in the area one more day). Besides the many, many hot springs pools ranging in temperatures from the 90s to the 100s, they have a whole other area we couldn't get to, with lots of outdoor options that are included in the day pass price.

This is a gorgeous place. Very kid friendly but not just over ran with kids. The in pool (hot springs) bar is very good and not only can get drinks from it but meals as well ! The staff is so friendly and lively! 10/10 recommend this resort to anyone.

Huge, gorgeous resort. Many hot springs of varying temperatures with romantic private coves. 5 star service and very nice rooms with a spectacular view. However, it feels very commercial and like they're trying to wring every penny from you (in a subtle way)

Incredible hotel. Hot springs for pools are amazing. Incredible views from the balcony, with enormous rooms. Staff go all out to make you feel welcome. Tubing was good fun although staff could tell you to bring shoes as unable to rent (contrary to website).

This resort is magical in so many ways. I could spend hours talking about all the things I love, but you really have to experience it yourself. It’s perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary or just a family vacation. I promise there is no resort like The Spring resort and spa. So many wonderful memories. I highly recommend this resort.

This place is out of this world. Just simply amazing. The waterfalls are a dream. Great service, the food is fresh and really good. The breakfast are amazing. The staff is always happy and super friendly. If you have the chance to stay in a villa this ones are super big and completely comfortable, you can have your own pool and full view to the volcano. Just excellent super luxurious place.

The two day pass was really good value compared to other hot springs. The resort has great service and the staff is super friendly. They provide towel service and showers with over 13 different hot springs, the hottest being 104°F. There arw also pool tables, fooseball, video games lounge and plenty of board games to keep you entertained. Loved our experience there and would definitely go back!

I would give 10 stars if I could. One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to, and I travel a lot.
Every part of this hotel, rooms, reception area, gardens, is tastefully decorated. You feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Multi level pools are gorgeous with some of them feeding directly from the hot springs, others with waterfalls, and some private small pools tucked away from common areas. All this with a commanding view of the volcano from everywhere in the hotel makes it a perfect vacation experience.

This is probably the nicest hotel around. We went for a day trip to the hot springs and I was blown away with the size and quality of this resort. The hot springs were amazing and the swim up bar was very convenient.

The Springs is one of those rare resorts that does everything right. The rooms, the view, the food, the service, the people Every aspect is top-notch!

There's plenty to do in the day, and wonderful warm springs pools to go and relax in the evenings. This is the best place by far to go and experience the Arenal area with all it has to offer.

The Springs is my new standard of excellence in resorts, and I most definitely want to return here again!

Super nice place. Attention to detail in the construction and architecture is amazing. Even the infrastructure is well camouflaged to blend in with the flora and fauna. Grounds are lush and immaculate. Wildlife abundance. There was a pair of Toucans in the tree right outside our room in the morning. Food in the restaurants was expensive but top notch. Our room was a two story suite that was huge! Great views of the volcano. Hammocks on the porch. Staff was very typical of Tico's in Costa Rica, very nice and eager to please. Check in was a little slow. Our room wasn't ready until almost 3:00 but that's their check in time so I can't complain too much about that. Went horseback riding for the first time in 35 years. Absolutely thrilling. Two guides with us. One took pictures with our camera and spotted two sloths along the path. One sloth was so close you could have touched it! Horses went into the river which was great fun!

Absolutely wonderful! Better in person than even the pictures show. We had the best stay ever. The staff and everyone made our stay very great. Everything is so clean and immaculate. Top notch resort. Our driver Roy, that picked us up from the airport and drove us back, was great. He went out of his way to show us a great time in Costa Rica. And another shout out has to go to Randald, our bartender, that was great! He makes the best drinks. Great guy and his service couldn't have been more attentive. Very sad we had to leave. I have never felt more welcome at a resort and we travel a lot.

Stopped in here as part of a tour/excusion to the Arenal Volcano area. Hot Springs pools have water pumped in from 400m away at a natural hot spring and have minerals added to them. Pools are emptied every night and filled again in the morning.

Pool staff was friendly and ready to help. We had a "tour menu" dinner here which was very nice and tasty but a little on the simple side.

There is no beach access nearby, you're in the middle of Costa Rica and have access only to the pools on site. Personally I was happy we stayed on the coast and had access to beaches every day.

Didn't stay in the rooms here so I can't comment on those!

We stayed at The Springs for our honeymoon per a friend's recommendation. What a great property!! The rooms were spacious with beautiful views of the Arenal volcano. There were a lot of hot springs and pools everywhere to enjoy as well as the fun Monkey slide! The service was amazing. The property is super clean and all the staff goes out of their way to assist with all your needs. The only reason I didn't give five stars was we felt that the food wasn't as great as we have had at other resorts. One other suggestion would be to have one or two evenings featuring some live music for guests to come together and enjoy.

We would recommend this place to others and really enjoyed our stay!
