  One of the best places we stayed in Costa Rica. The area is amazing. Lots of wildlife, cheap, good food, good service and very nice owner and staff. Highly recommended. I miss that place.

  Quaint, local style housing. They are like log cabins but open airy for the Central American climate. The staff is warm and friendly. We loved the suggestions for local attractions owned and operated by local people. Beware, the gps doesn't know about some roads. We managed to guess where roads ought to be. The on-site kitchen provides generous portions of local cuisine. Beautifully kept grounds. We'll be back with mountain bikes to get around.

  Stayed there for a couple of days with my partner. The place is absolutely lovely, you have absolute privacy in your little cabin. The two ladies working there are very welcoming, they reminded me of my mom. On one day we went for a long hike and as there is pretty much nothing in vicinty they packed us our lunches (with love and care). This region is beautiful and I'd recommend the lodge to everyone.
  (I think SUVs are almost necessary in this area)

  Very quaint, rustic little place. Amazing food at the restraunt, best Costa Rican dishes I've had across the whole country. Everyone here is very nice, warm, and inviting. You may want to invest in learning a bit of the language, how ever they do speak a bit of English and we have not issues communicating at all. Great place for an over night stay or a weekend getaway. Gorgeous scenery, and perfect for spot for anyone who loves bird watching.
