  Words are hard to even use to describe thisnplace it's so beautiful. The nature is amazing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is to dienfor, it's so clean here as well. I enjoyed every morning having breakfast and watching the birds and listening to the other monkeys. I seen many tucams here with a lot of other nature to see. I used to pass time by walking through the jungle In the morning or evening, sometimes in would walkmupntowards the farm to see the animals. The staff were more then great and beyond polite, this place is worth every penny. It is a little way from town tho so you should rent a car or be prepared to spend about 20 dollars each way. I stayed here for 8 days which was perfect amount of time. This place doesn't have a for kids to do but there are lots fornthe to do in the area

  Fantastic property with everything one needs for a great stay. Everything is in tip top shape and super clean. The property owners are super friendly and involved in making your stay the best it can be. Pura Vida indeed!

  Beautiful, peaceful home that is an easy walk down town. Plenty of room for the 11 people with us. Definitely a great place to stay.

  This place is outstanding! Beautiful property with lots of wildlife. The hosts are amazing and really go the extra mile to make your stay special.
  
  Please note, however, the house is located outside of town so unless you have a car (or want to take a taxi) be prepared to walk about 25-30 min into town.
  
  We truly loved our stay here and highly recommend it for families or large groups. We hope to be back again one day!

  We spent a wonderful weekend in La Fortuna surround of nature and beautiful people. I would recommend it for those that love nature, adventure and want to have a different vacation trip.
  
  The adventure started when I had a visit from a client and his family from US and they told me that they would like to visit La Fortuna but they want something different not like a hotel; so I found this house in VRBO and I got in touch with Eder Cruz (which is the host of the house) and he help us with the logistics, tours, hot springs options and restaurant recommendations; he has a lot of experience working with tourism and he knows La Fortuna very well so he is an excellent point of contact for questions and make your vacation more easy.
  
  Location: the house is about 1.5 kilometer from La Fortuna center, where you can find a lot of different places to buy food, groceries and souvenirs. If you like to walk or jog to La Fortuna you can do it without any problem and it’s secure.
  
  Property: is surround by two small rivers, plants and a lot of trees, inside of it you can fish by the river, see toucans, sloths and lot of birds. The house is private, secure, and comfortable; also it has everything you need (pool, air conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi and TV), one of our favorite things was that we went to bed hearing the river which is very relaxing. For those that loves BBQ, next to the house there is a place where you can do you BBQ and have a small party without making noise for those that want to rest in the house.
  
  Also, we had the opportunity to meet the owners (Lorenzo y Nelson) of the house and everybody was impressed because they are very accessible people and very kind; they really represent the Costa Rican that loves to work in agriculture and livestock. They do not speak much English but for them there are no language barriers and they do a small tour about the sugar cane (juice extraction and other products).
  
  My client and his family had an wonderful weekend in La Fortuna and I very pleased for that.

  Un lugar tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza para el que busca descanso y recargarse de energía. Esta cerca de las principales atracciones del bello lugar de la Fortuna.

  the house is a jewel!
  new, well kept, comfortable, spotless!
  the hosts are fantastic! warm, friendly, available to show you the many interesting trees scattered on the property, point out birds and sloths that live on the property trees, cut sugar cane for the guest enjoyment. they are friendly without being invasive. the place seems like the garden of Eden. highly recommended!
