Small bed and breakfast located walking distance from the main train station. Breakfast is delicious: bacon, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, breads, house jams and more. Rooms are average size for the area (everything is small here!). My favourite place to stay.
Very well located. Very clean and quiet. Very welcoming and great breakfast.
Excellent breakfast, nice staff, good bed, nice room. Airco sounds like it's grinding gravel, bathroom dangerous for the elderly because lack of support.
The breakfast is awesome. All organic, pasture raised, and healthy--plus some really flaky croissants and pastries for those who need some. Rooms are a good size.
At least they have a mini bar/fridge in the room! Not common in Switzerland. Up a hill and a bit out of town. Some nice restaurants around. Head for the University.
I stayed at the Sorrell Hotel Rex in Zurich in April 2017. It was wonderful. The tram goes very close to the hotel, making the city very accessible. You could walk to the center of the city (20 minutes) but we doing the public transit to be very convenient. The hotel staff were friendly and we loved the European breakfasts each morning.
Cozy, very clean and quiet neighborhood. Crew very helpful and polite.
No frills, clean, great service, and place although not exactly in the center, still near enough for you to have a ding in the old town and still walk back :) and the sweet at the pillow is a nice touch
Great stay! Great service! Convenient to tram station. The lift was cramped to haul luggage
Bath tub was too small. Pleasant stay; would highly recommend.
A compact little hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed in a family room, 2 adults and 2 kids. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. There wasn't much movement space in the room. The bathroom was OK. The coffee maker was tiny. The TV had hardly any English language channels. Nevertheless, the kids still watched German speaking cartoons.
Breakfast was good but cold as the usual continental stuff.
The hotel is walking distance from the train station. Trams and city buses stop right next door.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
Overall, it was great value for money in a city as expensive as Zurich.
