Attended a business meeting at this hotel. The room's facilities are good but there's a little noise pollution from the neighbouring rooms. The food on offer was pretty decent too

Very small room, and service somewhat average. Minor cleanliness issue (empty box of chewing gum on the floor upon arrival), and lack of hot water on the first morning. At checkout no-one enquired how the stay had been, and checkout took a long time although I was the only person. Well situated but rather expensive for a mediocre experience.

Nice 4 star property. Centrally located, best part is it is right next to the Zurich Central Station. Nice trained staff. Though rooms are small!

Stayed here overnight before heading into Germany for business. The hotel is very convenient to the Zurich HB train station, maybe 10 minutes from the airport, and within walking distance of downtown Zurich. Lots of shopping nearby within walking distance. Rooms are tight and sparse, but sufficient. Prices here and throughout the city are pretty high.

We requested for a non smoking room. When we got to our room there was a scent of cigarettes, and there was an ashtray in the balcony, so we figured this wasn't exactly a non smoking room before we got there.
We requested to change rooms, and we got an upgraded room in a higher floor, which was nice and free of cigarettes smell.response / report this review -

The location, staff and room were fantastic. Definitely will stay here again. Only detractor is that the fitness center is off site and costs 25 CHF to use, buy it is also very nice.response / report this review -

The hotel is located very very close to Zurich's central station and, that's about it on the positive side.
On the average side, the rooms are very small, the restaurant prices are a total rip-off and the room's facilities are rather common for a 2-3 star hotel.
Also, please double check the windows before you decide to stay in the allocated room. Mine, for example, had a missing half of a window, which made the sounds from the outside (trams, cars, people talking loudly or shouting) very unpleasant, especially during the night.response / report this review -

Great location, right in the middle of the main shopping streets with a great access to restaurants and the main station. Friendly service but decor a little tired. Room was pleasant but the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Decent hotel which usually has good prices for the area. It is about 3 minutes from the main train station which is great if you need to plan day trips out of the city. Being right on bahnhoffstrasse is 'loud' by Swiss standards, but any city dweller from the rest of the world will be fine and can take advantage of the discounted price.

An excellent night's sleep but a very dated hotel. The location, right next to the train station, is great but there are far nicer hotels for the same or less - Helvetia, Four Points, etc. The hotel offers three restaurants in an area of Zurich without a huge amount of competition although the breakfast buffet wasn't great.
In summary, the bed was the best thing about this place, although it does have some charm in a nostalgic way.response / report this review
