  The location is one block off Lake Zurich and a few blocks walking distance to a train station. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic including meats, cheeses, cereals, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices and coffee. the front desk staff goes out of their way to answer your questions and help in any way they can. We did not eat at the on site restaurant but it looks great and they were busy every evening. The room was spotless, but small.my only complaint would be that there is no where to unpack and put your clothes, so if you are staying a long time and want to get settled in that might be a problem.

  The hotel was ideal in every way - except lack of air con which means we did not sleep on either night! I would not have booked had I known.

  Situated in a great location within walking distance of the city but undisturbed by the Zurich traffic, both vehicles age pedestrian. Room was comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was a nice buffet, with the option to sit on the veranda outside. The staff were friendly and polite. The only drawbacks are that the top floors get very hot during summer and parking is quite difficult.

  A delightful hotel for spending a few days in Zurich and very convenient for the old city. Car parking, either in the street (free from 4 p.m. Saturday and all-day Sunday) or a nearby underground car park, was no problem.
  The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was perhaps a little too small for those beyond a certain age but presented no real problems.
  The staff are most obligingly helpful and the restaurant is so good that we never even thought about eating elsewhere.
  Should we ever return to Zurich, we shall again stay at the Seegarten

  I have stayed here each time I visited Zurich with one exception: I came back and have never left.
  
  This hotel feels like "home," which if you travel a lot is really nice. The team is wonderful, and as noted the restaurant is also very good.
  
  I would recommend this to anyone looking to relax and feel at home in Zurich.
