good price. received the bedding from reception, put it on my bed, had a room to myself, went to take a shower in the communal bathroom. in the morning I took the sheets of the bed and put them in their designated container in the reception area. I had a great breakfast, included in the price of the room. I parked my 13 meter bus just a few meters from the hostel. All in all I was very glad I got a room at this place. good price and good location.

Average hostel. Its value for the price. The rooms are relatively clean. Though take note that you have to put your own sheets and also that the showers are shared. The free wireless doesnt work at all.

Awesome place, awesome people. The girl at the desk was super helpful in finding hikes and stuff to do. The kitchen with pots and pans was a really nice amenity. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and showers were clean and lockers/luggage room was free. They sell beer, ice cream, and red bull which is cool. The only slightly weird thing is that the 6 person rooms have a very large bunk bed with 4 twin mattresses on them, meaning you're basically sharing a bed with someone on the top or bottom. You do have your own mattress and blankets but it's a little close. The free breakfast is pretty good too, which makes up for the slightly weird bedding situation.

I didn't like the check in / out times. The check in Was done at 3 pm AMD we were requested to leave at 10 am, so if you plan to go to the mountains in the morning you have to carry your things until you are able to leave them in the hostel or the next day the same. Breakfast Was very good and personal very kind. I Just don't think it worths for the price you pay

Best place to stay for backpackers. Very clean and systematic. Great location.
Complimentary breakfast. They arranged early breakfast when requested for. Best part is Grindelwald grund train station is just outside the hostel premises.response / report this review -

Hostel with good accommodation in Grund near Grindelwald area. It's cozy and hygienic. You have an option to fire and grill till 10pm. Accommodation includes bed and breakfast with breakfast having umpteen varieties to choose. Happy stay!!

I have visited this place with my college on a trip to discover Switzerland. The rooms are reasonable for the price. The place has a fireplace, a room with a washing machine and drier, a couple common rooms for large groups and a darts board.
The barbeque has been cooked for us by the staff and it was actually quite good. They offered us a large choice of meats, shrimps and a salad bar.
The toilets are clean, however the showers are hard to control and turn off every couple seconds.response / report this review -
