Today is our 4th night at ibis budget lucerne.
We are very happy to share that our stay is most comfortable of our trip.
Staff is courteous,most helpful and ever ready to help in all situations.
Though there is no restaurant,
for dinner staff helps you to have your own snacks comfortably.
Overall very happy

Hostel quality at hotel prices.

Well to be fair, I've never actually stayed in a hostel but it's somewhat how I would imagine it to be like - young 20-somethings hanging out in the lobby, small and cramped rooms. The bathroom is also small. The shower and the toilet are in separate areas, but you will feel like you are in an airplane bathroom when using either one. The sink is small too so don't even think about laying out any of your toiletries there. The only pros about this ibis were that it was clean enough (though dated), and close to the train station. It's about a 10-minute walk.

Overall, I don't think it was worth the price we paid, which was around $145 per night, in the beginning of September.

Good spacious room.good location. Not much distance from city center. Calm and quiet street. Good staff. Good room service. Above the expectation. Bus number 4 to reach the hotel. Hotel gives bus pass to customers.free high speed wifi. Stayed 3 nights. Loved it..

For a very budget hotel, I'm actually overall impressed. The beds are decent and comfortable but where I enjoyed the stay was the service. Staff were very friendly and helpful and were genuinely great to deal with. Rooms are super basic though with a small cubical type shower and small separate toilet. Come with overall low expectations for the room and you will greatly enjoy the stay!

The room was tiny, with no privacy (we were 3 people). I even had to make my own bed since they just left me the sheets to hundle on my own. You can spend your money better elsewhere oh and it was not very cheap either

Rooms are too small. But I liked the area where this hotel is situated, very close from city. And I loved the breakfast. Especially croissants they prepare are amazing.

Very clean but very small hotel rooms. Only bed, shower and WC. There is a communal dining area where there's a daily breakfast (mostly cold meats and cheese). Ideal of you only plan to sleep there and explore the breathtaking city during the day.

Good pricing compared to other hotels in the Luzern area! Rooms are very nice and clean, and have plenty of space. The location is a bit of a walk to the train station and the main area of restaurants/bars, but definitely manageable. There is not a real door to the toilet room (more like a stall door), which can be quite awkward when other people are in the room. But other than that, I was very pleased with this hotel!

The staff was very polite and helpful. They answered everyone with smiling face. They also assisted us in getting a disabled room. The same branch in Zurich was just the opposite.

Great hotel, good price. Only complaint (not even a complaint really, anyway) would be that the breakfast in the morning has a bit of a steep price, but other than that rooms are clean, wifi fast and customer service excellent.

Everything about this hotel is average. It's not bad, but average. You get scratchy sheets and your room is also the bathroom, which is weird and a bit like you're in a hospital. Our windows/doors didn't open on their hinges, instead they fall off when you unlock them.

It's cheap for Lucerne, but go in with the expectation of a hostel experience and you might be fine.

We were a family of three and stayed here in Mid Aug on our Europe Vacation. Very convenient location , walking distance from Luzern railway station. The staff is very helpful. What I did not like was the room size, the rooms are tiny, small standing shower and toilet. Overall good budget hotel

For the budget hotel, this is a neat utilitarian hotel. I especially liked the fact that I can get access to Microwave oven and kettle and dining area in a commonly accessed place for me to cook my ready to eat and noodles. the rooms and the bathrooms are tiny but tidy good enough to just hit the bed for sleeping after a long day of spending our time outside. The staff in reception are very courteous and very helpful even to give some tourist info. For the price they are charging, I would expect little bit more room in their rooms & bathrooms and some cupboards for luggage in the room to avoid the messy feeling in the room with the luggage lying on the floor all around.
