Very nice hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel provides breakfasts but does not have restaurant. There is a small car park in front of the hotel. The hotel is located very close to the Old town and it is big advantage if you want to do a sightseeing

Briliant hotel. It's located in the middle of the city and public transport will bring you everywhere you want to go. The hotel provides free public transport for the duration of your stay. The rooms are nice and clean and I was really glad they had airconditioning. The free breakfast every morning was great and the staff is really friendly. You can ask them anything and they will be glad to help you. If I ever go to Basel again, I'll be sure to come back here.

The hotel is very well located near the spalentor door. The room is quite large and comfortable and the staff is just amazingly helpful. Can't get much better than this. Excellent!

The rooms are modern and well furnished. The staff was friendly and English-speaking. The breakfast was quite varied. They also offer mobility passes for the public transport during your stay!

Stayed here for my friends 30th for a week. Staff are fantastic, warm and lovely greeting. Hotel room were lovely clean and spacious. Didnt try the breakfast as we went out everyday. Would recommend to all. Easy to commute to the station via public transport. Stones through away from Freiburg Zurich and Luzern.

Nice and warm service, decent place. Could have deserved more stars if there were not renovation works underway at the moment. The works do not seem to be unplanned, but there's no forewarning at all during the booking! Returning to the hotel every day is like getting into a construction site. Pity.

Stayed there for 2 nights. We were a group of 4 people. Both the king sized bed and the pullout sofa bed were very comfortable and the rooms were big enough, comparable to an American hotel.

Free breakfast, free fruits at the reception, easy walking distance to old town, bus stops right across the road - all very convenient.

The main negative was the plumping and AC. Both were very noisy, especially in the middle of night when you wake up due to loud noises because someone in nearby room is taking a shower or flushing the toilet.
