Great bar at the first floor. Talk to Claudio! Super modern interior. Lots of right angles and hidden features in the room. Nice selection of items at breakfast buffet.

This is the ultimate insult. I tried repeatedly to cancel my rooms for this trip because I was unable to travel to Art Basel. I was told that because my rooms were booked online that it was impossible to cancel the reservation (although it was weeks before my arrival date) nor could I push the reservation forward until the next time I am in Europe in October. Terrible policy, makes absolutely no sense especially considering the days booked were during Art Basel and I'm certain could be resold.

Excellent hotel with an outstanding lift system where you never take more than a minute or two to get through the 30 floors. Room, service and food were outstanding. The old city was beautiful in the sunshine and people at terrasses were very friendly, offering to show you the way without even being asked.

I had a very good stay at the Hyperion Hotel Basel. Staff is very friendly and professional, rooms are clean and tidy, great connectivity so I am always able to get work done when I need to and location was perfect for my needs.

A bit pricey for a very small room. Cleanliness very good and staff friendly, so OK overall, but disappointing that my ordered breakfast in the room never came, with the result that I had to start the day with only a coffee and an apple.

Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast menu, clean rooms. Didn't have a chance to try the gym and the sauna, so I can not comment on that bit.

I was on a short business trip to Basel. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Ramada plaza. Absolutely no complaints except for some basic amenities such as comb and Razor Set not supplied as part of standard toiletries. I look forward to staying here during my next trip and as well will strongly recommend the hotel to my colleagues and friends.

Excelent finish sauna with beautiful smell of eucalyptus. There's no thermometer but feels very hot, around 90°C. There's no pool but semi-private and privet showers to cool down, even naked. Closing time for finish sauna and steam sauna (inside Health Club) are at 11pm but this is not strictly enforced. Gym is open 24/7 and provides plenty machinery for running or cardiovascular exercise. However, there is no bench press or other heavy lifting machines and weights are also limited.

Quite clinical and corporate so more suitable for business travellers rather than families. Service is good. Gym is very basic. Don't really rate the room service but breakfast has a good variety of options. Right next to the Messeplatz so sometimes can get really booked up - book as early as possible. Good team links just outside which can take you across the river. There's also a co-op grocery store a couple of minutes walk away.
