Plug sockets are a weird shape. Didnt fit a normal travel adapter. And only 2 plugs uin thw whole room. Tv didnt work. Although breakfast was good but very expensive

Location was brilliant. 5 mins walk to main train station. Staff were friendly and helpful. However room was boiling hot and aircon only seemed to blow warm air. Only 2 plug sockets in room. Neither anywhere near a mirror. Be warned Switzerland uses a different adapter than the normal European and Uk ones, although the hotel lent us a spare Swiss adapter.

We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was basic but the hotel had everything we needed, as it was in a convenient location next to the train station. Our only gripe was that there were only 2 Power points in the room which was annoying.

A nice and clean hotel. It is conveniently located close to the train station and tram lines 16 and 2 run right past and take you to the historic downtown. You get a free tram pass for the duration of your stay. The breakfast is really good and caters to a variety of traditional European breakfasts. I heard the staff speak German and English, but I'm sure they can probably speak more languages. The hotel is quiet and the street noise is not excessively loud. I had a great stay here while I was in Basel.

Its OK. Nothing special and if you happen to have a room towards the side street the streetcar rattles around at night quite a bit. But as all ibis hotels, clean, friendly and reliable.

Very old building. Old furniture and toilet rooms. Dirty, old sticky carpet Staff was nice and friendly.

We travel a lot and we always stay at Ibis hotels whenever we can. We like the fact that their hotels consistently offer good quality installations, a streamlined check-in/out system, well trained and friendly staff, and affordable prices. This one is no different, and the location is fantastic for us as we make a point of using only the public transportation option when travelling through Europe.
