Great spot. Nice restaurant in the building that has a good vibe. Breakfast in the cafe was good but took a little bit for our food to come out.

Clean, comfortable, and the best part was the friendly staff, everyone was exceptional. Will hold your bags in case you are early or waiting for later travel arrangements than your room stay allows. Location is perfect and Main attractions and buses are very close, all walking distance.

An attractive and stylish downtown location with an in-house bar, Cafe and liquor store. Staff are efficient and helpful. No parking on site, and no laundry.

I didn't mind the location. Customer service was fine. The decor was great. Beautiful hotel. My only complaint is how paper thin the walls were. You could hear a neighbor sneeze like they were in your room. I would start hear again and run a nose machine for white noise.

The Rialto hotel is probably the best hotel in Victoria for a few reasons.
1. It is in the heart of the city next to China town, surrounded by some of Victoria's oldest, best preserved buildings filled with fabulous clothes, books, nick nacks, antiques, delicious restaurants (you have got to have the Yiddish Columbia Eggs Benedict at Johns) and locally created object d'art.
2. Walking distance to everything.
3. The hotel itself is beautiful restored with comfortable beds and beddings, stylish decor and surprisingly quiet rooms given its placement in the city. Not too big which means it has an air of intimacy and reminds me of the little hotels in Europe. and
4. The staff are helpful, friendly and playful, which I appreciate.

The price is mid to high . and worth it. You might be wondering why I did not give this little gem a 5 star rating. It is because their breakfasts are unfortunate. Go to Johns, across the street, or wander over a couple blocks to Willies Cafe. Did not eat the lunch or dinners .. the breakfast turned us off so much that my guest and I are both writing the hotel.

Old run down hotel converted to beautiful boutique hotel. Service is excellent and their coffee house and cocktail lounge is always busy.

Good downtown location, very nice rooms with full size beds, spacious bathroom, some with tubs. Great breakfast restaurant. They will store bicycles in the basement for you overnight. There's also a bar and second dinning area on the first floor.

Great service. Elevator was broken and self parking lot was a construction site so valet and baggage services were offered. I stayed in a large corner room. Super clean and quiet.

We have stayed in hotels all over the world. The Hotel Rialto in Victoria, BC is now our favorite. We stayed there over the US Thanksgiving weekend 2016. What a wonderful experience. A great room, attentive staff, and a fine restaurant. The location is in downtown Victoria. We had our car but it was not needed because we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping is all around. Bravo, Hotel Rialto!
