The lady that checked us in was wonderful. Very helpful with directions. Room was fairly clean but they list WiFi as an amenity and it was ridiculous. It kept logging us out. When we complained about it to the man checking out there was no apology. Our key cards were also deactivated before we checked out and the painter there had to let us back into our rooms. Again, no apology. I would definitely not go back there. I'm glad there is only one in Canada.

Walking up to the entrance and front desk was not impressive but once inside we were very pleased. It appears to be recently and tastefully renovated. Very clean with very comfortable beds and fully stocked (pots and pans and china) kitchenette. Not the Ritz but a great value with a fantastic Chinese restaurant.

Nice staff for a super busy club!
Staff was always smiling and eager to help get your drink and send you on your way to enjoying your night!

Went for lunch and live music on Saturday. Had a great time. House band was great, popular timeless songs that both us and our parents enjoyed. Food was 2 for 1 appetizers which was amazing. We got 6 appetizers from pita bread and ribs to poutine and they were all great. Very attentive service from our waitress who you could tell was very experienced. Interior really reminded me of a casino which was neat. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while.

We stayed just one night in early June. We were delighted to be upgraded to a room with two Queen beds at no extra change. Though a little tight for space if you have a lot of luggage, the room was excellent; very, very clean & fresh. Front desk staff were helpful & friendly. They let us store our carry-on bags in a secure room until much later in the day when we took a bus back to get them & headed for the ferry. Excellent value for an exceptional price.

Rooms are modern, the staff are great- they seem happy to be there, and you don't even notice that it's attached to a strip club.

Seems clean. Very cheap if you are just looking for a place to crash for a night. Outside of that I wouldn't really recommend it for anything else. Property is worn down and dated.

I went to the red lion for dim sum for the first time. I was pleased. Sat down pretty much started eating. Price wasn't listed but was what I expected. Staff friendly. Great experience will be back

Many, many thanks to Chris Fairfield at the front desk for setting me up in this fully booked hotel without a reservation, after I was told over the phone to drop in on the day of. His smile was genuine, he was polite and very patient. Bonus, the room was available right away after flying in from Edmonton at 7am! I now highly recommend the Red Lion and will be returning again.
