Nice and clean hotel in a good location for a reasonable price. Surprising and nice open courtyard. But I do not appreciate some of the art in the lobby which was not appropriate for families / children.
The hotel was clean an overall good value for the rate charged but we experienced a theft following check out from this hotel. We had left a small suitcase in our room & called the same day we checked out and i was told it could not be found and then the hotel contacted us the following day and said the bag had been found and had been stored securely in a storage locker. After picking up the suitcase and opening it at home we discovered several items were missing. the hotel claimed to launch an internal investigation but later phoned us and told us that nobody from their staff would steal & offered us a refund of $35 on the parking we had paid. The items that were removed from the suitcase were far more valuable then $35. We were completely underwhelmed by their response to this situation and would never stay there again.
Been at a several day conference. This hotel is to of the best hotel. They offer great support for our conference. Clean and bring pretty. Fantastic location. A 10 min walk during breaks is a fantastic change to a seawall experience that clears put your head. Amazing in all aspects. A+
Loved the location, the design, the service. As to noise I had a room facing Burrard Street on the 3rd floor and didn't notice any noise at all. But I'm a city girl so As for size of rooms - well the Burrard is about your only option under $300 a night so I'm fine with a king size bed and a compact room and bath. Great value for the money.
Lovely and comfortable rooms. Slightly quirky style which makes it better than the usual corporate layout. Really helpful and friendly staff.
Staff were friendly and helpful but man do I feel ripped off - $950 CDN for two nights in what is equivalent to a motel 8 with cute stickers everywhere. room was tired, damp and cheaply fitted with a (chained-up) portable air-conditioning unit that was so loud sleep was impossible. Maybe Vancouver is ridiculous but for that kind of money I would expect a much, much higher standard of accommodation.
Extremely clean. Very comfortable. The best hotel pillows I've ever used. The courtyard is gorgeous. There is a ton of quirky decorations. It's loud at night, but that can't be helped given the location.
It's so nice to stay at a place that has great character with a keen attention to detail. The rooms are well decorated and clean. It's in a great location, and they have bikes for guests to use for free! I would certainly stay here again.
Very cute hotel, so mid-century modern, retro space age fabulous. Could have been a touch cleaner but overall I was pleased!
Great room, clean and spacious. Only cons were being near the hospital had sirens going off quite often. Other then that it was a great stay.
Very cool and trendy hotel with a LA feel!
Friendly helpfully staff.
Comfortable rooms.
Very affordable.
The rooms are a little small, how ever I found it to be cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have Johnny bench size hands you will have trouble with the bathroom sink as it's a little small for someone with large hands. My number one complaint is that you can't fully close the curtains to darken the room. Also some of the taps and fixtures in the room were loose. The shower does get hot and I enjoyed the in room coffee. The bed was comfortable. I was on the third floor and had little to no road noise.
I really love this hotel; it is my new favourite for when I stay in Vancouver!
The rates are reasonable, the staff provides superior service, and it shows that The Burrard has a great sense of humour & knows how to have fun.
I can't wait to stay here again!
