Sunshine is a picturesque mountain resort that offers visitors and tourists excellent opportunities to explore the Rockies in all seasons. Recently visited for some early season snowboarding. Conditions in the morning were great and although weather deteriorated throughout the day staff remained friendly and helpful and maintained conditions to the best of their ability. Would not hesitate for a second to recommend this place to anyone, at any age, with any sized family. A great place to explore the Rockies.

Amazing place for skiing; quick chairlifts, great lodge, fair prices, amazing runs. Sunshine has enough different types of skiing for everyone to enjoy

The room is a little small, but everything else is amazing! Great views, food, and amenities. The hot tub is my favorite.

Stayed here twice. It's so convenient if you love boarding or skiing. Even if you don't it's a beautiful place to be. Outdoor hot tub is wicked !

Beautiful place and hotel rooms are nice. Rooms have a gas fireplace for added coziness. But check ahead which restaurants are open - though 3 or 4 restaurants were advertised, only one is open for dinner and the food is expensive and not great compared to anything you can get in Banff town.

Hotel is nice, but few things that you must know before you book your night. First, the only way to go up to the hotel is by a gondola which stops operating at 6pm. If you come after, then there is a shuttle that will take you up (runs every 30 minutes), but if you come after 11pm they charge you $75 to take you up.
Also, no food is served in hotel after 11pm. Just some vending machines. No food fridge in rooms either.

The gondola rides are amazing and you will see beautiful views. Good service, location is about 10 minutes from a very nice downtown. Room was nice, no ac but a fan was good enough

Location is amazing. I'd never been up the mountain in the summer and the views were stunning. There were a few issues with shuttle busses getting back down the mountain but overall it was a pleasant overnight stay. The rooms were clean and cozy.

Didn't stay overnight, but the view was really pretty from there. Also the food was nice. Even though it's a ski resort, it's worth visiting in the summer, too. There's a really nice hiking trail up there!

Amazing views. Nice rooms a little small for the price we paid but overall an amazing place to stay. The convenience of being located right in Sunshine Valley and right by a lift was great.

Came for skiing. Conditions weren't great but enjoyed the good options at the lodge. Also enjoyed the trash can with volleyball pong at the outdoor bar. Seemed like a good ski resort. My only complaint was that some of the runs were placed in a way that was difficult to get between them

The lodge is a perfect place to take a break after a few runs. They have a couple restaurants, a coffee shop, an apparels store and washrooms of course. Is very well kept and maintained.

We loved everything about our stay at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge. The people working there are extremely pleasant and accommodating. The hot tub was perfect to relax in after a long day on the mountain. The rooms are cozy and we really enjoyed the food at each of the restaurants. They were understaffed while we were there but they worked even harder to make up for it!

Love sunshine! Best place to ski near Calgary. Also has the best full day ski lessons for kids. Allowing me and our older daughter to ski the slopes while our younger son learns from the pros.
