Quite possibly the funnest place in Canmore. The hotel is connected to the restaurant /bar - which makes the need to go anywhere else irrelevant. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun and the staff aims to please! Live bands never disappoint - we've been there over 7 times and it has yet to disappoint!

Great location and view. Rooms are ok, simple and small. Not fancy, but a reasonable place to spend the night.

Rooms are comfy and the view is excellent for the price! The staff is not so friendly, but they get things done. The big plus is it's in the heart of downtown Canmore and there are lots of pubs around. And the Cherry on top is the free entrance to the pub and dance floor right next to it.

Horrible service. Went to The Drake two night's in a row for a drink and the service was awful. The Bartenders and Karaoke DJ were awful to deal with. I will never step foot in that Bar again. We do all our company outings there and will never happen again.

Awful nights stay, hotel is attached to their own pub, music is so loud ear plugs do nothing and the floor of the room shakes from the music. If you are looking for a good nights sleep look elsewhere. Already after 1AM and been trying to sleep for the past three hours.

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was not too busy outside on the patio and we got a great spot. We tried the fish and chips (which came with gravy for the fries - that's a first) and the steak flatbread. Food was average. The service was great, our server stopped by several times to talk to us and give us recommendations on drinks and such.

It was a busy day in the Canmore folk fest and September long weekend, the place was understaffed and the kitchen seemed to be confusing matters. But that being said, the servers were clearly doing their best, the drinks were good and the food was tasty (Montreal smoked meat sandwich). I enjoyed my time on the patio and look forward to my next visit. The craft beer selection could be better though, more varieties would be appreciated.

Went for lunch at the restaurant. Got the steak sandwich special and wanted it cooked med rare. It ended up well done. They did at least cook me a new one and gave me an extra side dish. The second one was actually pretty great tasting and cooked right but the portions were pretty small and I had to wait a while. The others at my table were pretty much done their food by the time I got to start eating mine

We went as a large work group (ages 35-50) on a weekend and we had a great night here. The live rockabilly band was great, we danced and had a great time while the drinks were flowing.

my experience was awesome for an affordable place to stay, I stayed here on Christmas eve so I was close to the mountains for going snowboarding, the restaurant at this inn was awesome as well, the place was nearly empty other then a couple regulars and the girl that served me was very nice and accommodating since I am a picky eater. I gave her a good Christmas tip because nobody wants to work late on Christmas eve! Thanks a lot for the great service
