Spent a week at the Sunrise Resort and just loved it. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The view from our balcony was amazing. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Clean and well maintained. If a/c is a necessity for you, be sure to check that the room you are booking has it! Nice pool, friendly staff.

A beautiful entrance and main lobby greet you on arrival to the resort. Courteous and attentive staff are quick to offer suggestions of things to do and see, or dole out towels for the nice swimming pool and hot tub.
Rooms are beautiful and modern, with all the amenities you might need, cleaned daily and in excellent condition
The resort is technically waterfront, but there are no rooms directly on the water. Very few rooms have a view of the Salish Sea, but those that do offer beautiful sunrise views over the mainland mountains.
There is no beach, so to speak. Certainly nothing to lounge on, as can be found at some of the other resorts down the road. However, the appeal of this beach is the kilometre or so of tidal pools at low tide that offer fun exploration of crabs, sand dollars, fish, heron and millions of snails.
There is no restaurant on the premise, but many rooms have full kitchens and it is a quick drive into the village.
We had a great stay here, with a 4y old. Nice family atmosphere.

Gorgeous rooms, large pool and hot tub area. Small gym. Can see ocean partially from top rooms. Walk to ocean is only 2 minutes, beautiful Bay especially at low tide! Parksville is a cute town, very close to numerous waterfalls and other parks! Would come here over and over again.

I looked at Sunset Ridge as a venue for my wedding ceremony and reception. Jack the guest services manager was extremely helpful and provides a guided tour for us. The rooms are amazing and everything was clean and open. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone wanting an awesome weekend trip. Very nice.

Even though our bed was a little small for me, I'm used to a king size bed. The room was very comfortable. I did miss a table to spread out my stuff, and to eat at. Shower was great, never used a direct over head fixture before. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location, views, rooms and overall experience. Nice west coast decor but still modern.

When I arrived at Sunrise Ridge I immediately fell in love with the location, the facility and the friendly staff. I was at the resort to catch up on tax reading and found it to be the perfect location. Minutes away from Parksville with restaurants located all along resort way. I have decided to make this an annual visit.

Registration is quick and efficient - rooms are large - kitchen is very nice. The bed was superb! Bathroom is spacious and functional. And problems were look after immediately! The pool and hot tub were great on a warm day! Great place for a day or a week!

Hotel disguised as a resort. Friendly staff but you can feel an atmosphere of limited facilities with the place. No restaurant, very very limited "ocean views".

This place is amazing! Great people and service when you need it. I come here a half dozen times a year on work. It's my go to place to stay.
