Went for a pre Christmas getaway for a week with five friends had a great stay at the Ocean Village! Would definitely recommend staying here well worth the price. Modern stand-alone little houses instead of a hotel room would definitely stay again.

Great location, close to town but quiet and peaceful. Indoor pool is nice and the rooms are well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the place has everything you need

Very nice overall, ground level suites have very tall ceilings. Lobby has a very nice fire and is always warm. Shower head was cracked and sprayed out the side but nice bathroom

Really nice cabins. Kind of packed together but overall it's a quiet peaceful place. Pool facility is also nice. We had two across from each other and it made for some nice space for an extended family get-together.

Excellent place to stay at in Parksville. The cottage we stayed at is well kept, spacious and lovely. We stayed at the Arbutus, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There was more than enough space for all 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids. The patio in the back and the bbq was an added bonus to a beautiful decorated cottage. The kitchen was functional with plenty of kitchen gadgets. We were a short walk away from the pool but we didn't mind the walk. Rathtrevor beach is a stroll away or very short drive, 3 min. Book early if you want to stay closer to the pool/hot tub. Our kids didn't want to go home !
The staff here are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We left a parcel at the cottage and they called us and confirmed our address to arrange for shipment. Kathy, the manager, Anne, Justina, were the few that helped us and they provided top notch customer service. I highly recommended this place.response / report this review -

Loved our cabin! Well laid out and nicely decorated. Appliances worked great with a natural gas BBQ out back. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Pool was very nice and the general area we were in was quiet. Only downside was wifi was spotty and there is no AC but there were plenty of fans. I will book this place again.

What a beautiful location to relax and experience the wonder of Vancouver Island! Only a short distance away from Rathtrevor Beach, Cathedral Grove, and many other attractions, you'll never find yourself wondering what to do - you'll only wonder if you have enough time to experience them all! Such a beautiful place Clean, inviting, and a place a wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone visiting the island!

Just like having an awesome time-share, all conveniences of home without having to bring the kitchen sink. Great people, quiet environment and very practical/economical for bookings that require more than one bed or diversity of needs! LOVE IT. Our second visit is booked and I hope they continue to be available for years to come!!!

Excellent place to stay when multiple bedrooms are required. Our 3 bedroom cottage was perfect for my family's getaway. Beach is close, town with parks, groceries, food, coffee, shopping is just a few minutes drive away. Resort is clean, well maintained, quiet, indoor pool and hot tub were both great.

We love this place. Close to ocean, trails and has indoor pool for rainy days. Cottages are very comfortable and fully equipped.

Cabins are comfortable and well laid out. Very good location. We've been using them for several years now -- since they were new. The one we just used was starting seem a little worn out - bedding, kitchen accessories, paint. Pretty good price, off-season.

Stayed here 3x in 3 different cabins. Always clean overall and well equipped kitchens. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff.
