Very cute! I find myself recommending it by word of mouth often so I figured why not post a review! Awesome staff and good beverages.
Stopped by the other day. Was so happy I did. What a great little shop. I will definitely be going back
Great place! This cafe is nice, but the service is amazing! Very passionate about their products. The guy came right out from behind the counter to explain options, and he did the same for next customer. Thought it was very considerate and I felt well taken care of! Will be back regularly.
There is a new ownership at this cafe recently. The host is incredibly friendly and approachable. Fancy latte art is available at your request with the new machine. The new renovation also makes this cafe a much nicer and comfortable place to stay and enjoy! Last but not least, you won't be disappointed with the taste of their latte :)
Amazing service delicious food and great coffee love coming here in the mornings
This is such a cute cafe! It's sort of tucked away in a little street and so its not very busy. I love that is has the same coffee shop vibe as European coffee shops. Its definitely not the North American coffee chain feel. I highly recommend it!
JJ bean is great coffee. Coffee shop has nice feel and decor, lots of big windows. Husband /wife team have been new owners for approximately a year or more
She is sweet but he isn't cut out for the customer service business. Seems to be his natural personality. It may not make a difference but I feel like I should very kindly tell him that how his customers perceive his attitude and demeanour really could affect whether they come back. If you can look past that it is a great cup of coffee!
Best breakfast croissant ever! Good coffee too would definitely recommend and come back.
I was looking for a cafe experience a little less "mass production" style than Starbucks, and the name "Good Day Sunshine Cafe" popped up. I thought, "Sounds great!"
In reality, no sunshine or smiles to be had here. I asked cheerily to the gentleman behind the counter if he had anything to recommend or a specialty drink, and he just looked annoyed by the question (in spite of me being the only person in the line).
He came up with a suggestion which actually was relatively good, but again, the service left a lot to be desired.
I guess back to Starbuck's next time!
I've been going here for about two years now as an alternative to the giant international coffee chains. They source their coffee from the local JJ Bean supplier. Most of their treats and eats, if it isn't made in house, is also sourced from the immediate local area. Personally, I've become addicted to their: chocolate chip cookies, strawberry mango smoothies in the summer, hot chocolate in the winter as well as to their Sunday crepes. Most of their soups are great too, and I've often gotten soup to go to reheat later in the day when I've come home. Finally, when I've wanted a sandwich I've found I can't go wrong getting a grilled cheese or a chicken sandwich. The owners are warm and gracious - especially when you get to know them - but I can see how some find them a bit cold,? - it's not that they are cold but more that they are shy and quiet. If it gets busy be patient, the food and drink are worth the wait. Also the cafe features work from local artists and serves as a meeting place for different arts groups and those needing a gathering place.
