Came in a few months ago late at night looking for decent quick food, this place wasn’t it.

The wonton soup had the flavour of boiling water, the dumplings were straight out of the freezer and the sauce was disgusting. I finished the night with extreme nausea.

The desert was great though, pesto bismol.

Just decided to check this hidden jem out during happy hour, offering local beer for $4. Plays some fun old school hip hop during these hours. No one in here at 6:20 p.m. its more of a late night place. Very nice place to relax.

Great staff, good music, yummy food and drinks. Unfortunately, not the best for people with mobility issues because of steps to get to main area and smaller bathroom space.

A fun selection of cocktails, heavy mood lighting, and ginger beef. Not a good choice for conversation, but great at getting people into a party mood.

My boyfriend and I always stop here when we go out . Even when we are meeting people somewhere else we will go here for one drink just because we love it here that much . Thanks for having such a fun and welcoming place :)

Ming is a long-standing staple on Calgary's 17th Ave. For people looking to break w/ the more pub-like atmosphere of some of our other well respected venues in the area, Ming is likely the right place. They have a large selection of Martini's and the best Ginger Beef I've tasted. The staff is always helpful and recently worked to give my wife a Surprise BDay party in the "Red Room". The only down-side I see to Ming these days is that it is not as busy as it once was - give Ming your business and help ensure the venue's continued longevity on 17th Ave.

PS - let your friends attempt to pick up the coins on the floor.

The food here is delicious. Though I've only been here once, I did enjoy it quite a bit. However, for most of the week, the restaurant always seems empty and underwhelming. But if you are looking for a tame, low key night, this is the place to be.

Ceyda and I went for dinner on Wednesday. They had 50% off deal. The service was fantastic, the food was great and all for a price you can't beat! Will go back again for sure!
