The place wasn't as good as others made it seem. We stayed at the resort Habitat was based out of. They recommended to book reservations. We called and no answer, figured it was busy and hoped there was room there. Much to our surprise, there was only one other couple there not even 5 minutes we were there. Even the server said this was normal to see this few long people there but definitely didn't explain how come anyone didn't answer the phones.
We had breakfast and ordered stuff that was pretty easy to make. Unfortunately making eggs over medium with the yolkes still soft came to me as hard and eggs overcooked by a good minute or two. Didn't see the server till after my meal was finished. Guess I'm too used to servers coming within a minute or two after receiving the meal to make sure everything is ok.
Pricing was ok for a restaurant. It wasn't expensive but wasn't cheap either. Just on par.

Great service, great atmosphere, absolutely exceptional food. If you come to Canmore, you must not leave until you've eaten here. Culinary delights in the highest order. Fantastic bartending, too. Six stars out of five.

We had went there for my mother's 60th, a group of 16. Space was fine, well laid out and clean. The two servers we'd had were on par. We gotten drinks and appetizers. Then the great wait. A very long wait. About an hour after the appys showed up, the kids meals finally made their appearances. Then over the course of about another 45 min the adult's finally started to receive there meals. Each finishing pretty much before the other could start. The food was fine, even with the mix up with my plate. The most disappointing part of the evening was that no manager had come and talked to us. The two server's were obviously embarrassed, and things were getting very awkward. Maybe this was just anomaly. Maybe they were short handed in the back. Definitely ruined my mother's birthday.

Went with family for my wife's birthday. We had a wonderful meal and great time! Thanks for treating her special!

Pork Tender loin was Dry, Tenderloin Steak was Cold. Would not recommend it to anyone. Will not Return. Have no idea how this place is rated so high.
