Great family experience. Lots of rides, both family friendly and for older kids. Beautiful scenery and parkland that encourages picnics. A train will take you around if you don't mind waiting for it. There can be a lot of walking otherwise but lots to see on the way. Educational presentation about marine animals was about 40 minutes and quite interesting. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean including the bathrooms. Some attractions closed due to Covid. A great deal if you can go more than once, as a ticket gets you a season's pass.

We were shocked at the price but the show and rides made up for it. The park is getting a little run down and a few rides are not running. The park is HUGE, be prepared to walk a lot. There are trains to transport you but it took us all day to figure out which train went where. If they colour coded the map or posted a train map at each pickup location, it would have made is a valuable resource. Also the trains stop running at 6 but park closes at 8. Food at the park was tasty and reasonably priced.

We walked right in and skipped the line because we purchased our tickets online the night before. This year you get a free upgrade to seasons pass. So we stopped by to get our pictures taken it took less than 5 mins to get our whole family done. Throughout the whole park the staff was unbelievably friendly, helpful and cheerful. Amazing to see, and thankful for their kind service. The only thing I would want to see improved is all the bird poop near the bears and fish pond. It needs a good spray wash. The bathrooms and change rooms smelled great and were extremely clean. Very refreshing to see at a theme park and puts Canada's Wonderland to shame. Overall I would recommend a visit during the week. Short lines and lots of shady benches to rest.

We really enjoyed. buy 1 season ticket and you can walk at least every day. interesting dolphin and walrus show. Many animals. attractions for children were not all working, but we did not even have time to get around everything. Dragon Hill is a place for the brave. you can spend the whole day. we will definitely come again.

As a kid of the 90s, I remember the enthusiasm and excitement that the catchy jingle triggered on the commercials as i watch my cartoons. They portrayed a vibrant and exhilarating place, a must do location to see orcas and seals. I finally got to visit with my family, and the place was haunted by the ghosts of glories past. The entire park felt like it's clinging onto the last few threads of existence. The sprawling parking lot had more weeds than cars.
It should be noted that the staff are friendly and the Dolphin show were entertaining. Albeit for the 8 spectators watching.
Half the rides weren't operational. Maybe it was due to going on a weekday while school was still on, and shortly after 2 years of covid. Perhaps a visit during peak season would get a different review from me. Based on my visit however, it was a once mighty attraction which is limping forward on the reputation of the past.response / report this review -

It's a has been. Not very impressed. Same as what we had attended 15 years ago. Not very busy. Many rides and animals to enjoy. Needs to be brought up to the current century. Needs more imagination in keeping the crowds intrigued. Kids enjoyed it but the adults needed more impact.

True this park is quite old and despite its large coverage, only some animals enclosure and various food stands and stores inside the park remained active.
The arcade was old however we had a load of fun with the reminiscent feel of old ticket arcades and exchange for gifts. We enjoyed the dolphin show as well as other marine animals display. We did not witness any abuse or any animals living under abusing conditions. Many of them were feed and seemed to be well care by the staff. Their enclosure seemed to be big enough for free roams. Yes it is not the wild sea but still not abusing small space as many claimed. Food is a bit pricey but pretty decent.
Don't pay attention to the 1 stars rating since most of them are animal activists claiming abuses for everything (surely didn't even visited the park) and snobs who like to criticize everything because it isn't Hollywood standards.response / report this review -

My youngest daughter would run to the TV every time the commercial came on screaming how she wanted to go there so the last weekend of summer break we decided to surprise the kids.
First off the parking is free and you are allowed to bring your own food although we didn't and found the park food pretty expensive.
The animal show at was really entertaining and the displays were a lot of fun. A little more shade along the trail and at the belugas would have been appreciated though it was really hot under the noon sun.
The little kid rides were not too busy and a lot of fun, we didn't go on any of the big rides so I don't know how they were.
With the experience we had I am pretty sure we will be back next year.response / report this review -

I was surprised with the condition of some of the buildings! Mostly stone structures around the rides and walls to appear as a medieval castle throughout the park. Not just faux stone like you see many places.
Most of the restrooms were circa 1990s, but seemed to be maintained fairly well. It was very slow the day we went, and there were virtually no lines. All of the ride operators were very kind and engaged, and seemed genuinely happy to be there.
The show was great, and the workers appeared to treat the animals well and appeared to care for them.
I would definitely recommend as a family trip. At first I was skeptical due to how much it cost, but I am happy the kids got to experience it. Especially since I am not sure how long shows like this will be allowed to go on.response / report this review -

We went today and enjoyed our experience! One of a kind park. Some reviews are calling the park "outdated" (who cares? And actually, I *love* the originality), and some are saying it's in need of repairs (yes, the buildings and everything are "dated" but they are well cared for and I love that it's not overly-commercialized). The park is beautiful. Yes, you walk quite a bit to various attractions but you've got scenery to show for it! The roller coaster is a hidden gem (my kids rode it continuously since there were no lines).
The animals! The show was flawless. We loved feeding and petting the belugas. We loved tossing the black bears food. Just hands down an experience you'll likely not find anywhere else.
The animals looked to be well cared for.
Most of the negative reviews are from people harping on animal welfare and likely have never visited.response / report this review -

The shows they have on are incredible. It's amazing how much the animals want to please their trainers. You can get really nice photos of yourself petting the whales in arctic cove. Everyone's really friendly and the rides are lovely. Beware of the wasps near the garbage cans. I especially liked the underground viewing windows into the enclosures. They'll come right up to the window. It's also not crowded which is great. One of the few things I can say is worth your money in Niagara.

I took my kids there a couple of weeks ago. They enjoyed dolphin show, feeding beluga, all family rides. Luckily, it was a nice weather day. So we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
We liked food and ice cream.
Car parking is free.
They gave us some token for arcade but couldn't use.
Admission is a bit expensive for me but overall I like this attraction and want to visit again.response / report this review -

Good for families with small kids. Not really much for thrill seekers. They have some stuff they are working on, but they have been working on it for several years with little progress. But, like I said, it is still good for families with small kids.

My Kids really enjoyed it. We felt like it was good bang for buck.. However I had a problem with the bear enclosure as far as crowding and they looked pathetic. I also felt horrible for the deer/ elk/ and Bison. They should be better kept.

Season pass holder. Fantastic for rides for the kids. Can go on as many times as they can. Not typically a line up if you go a bit later in the afternoon. Not sure what those PETA idiots are going on about. The Animals seem healthy and happy.

The best value around for a day with the family. Only pay $5 to upgrade to a season pass and kids under 5 are free with paying adult.
Our son had a blast with all of the rides, never huge wait times like Canada's Wonderland and the workers were always friendly.
When we had our membership we made many mid week trips to the park and it was great.
Be prepared for lots of walking but bring your own food and drinks (Something you cant do at Wonderland)
We got a Wonderland season pass this year and I think my 3.5 year old enjoyed it less. He liked the rides he could do at Marineland moreresponse / report this review -

An amazing place for all ages!!
The price is a bit high, but completely worth it. a season pass is only an additional 5 dollars.
the rides are amazing, the walking distance between each section is a bit far, but its great exercise and gives lots of spaces to sit, and run.
there is a picnic area, and many restraunts to eat. it can get very hot, but there are stands everywhere with good priced water/juice.
the rides are great for kids, with rides also enjoyable for grownups. this is an amazing place to go!response / report this review
