Scam alert! Watch yourself at this place. It might just be the one guy but I went here for an inspection and the guy blatantly tried to scam me. He told me it would cost about $300 to fix my muffler. When I told him I'd already had a quote from Midas for $50, he said he could probably do it for $60.
After seeing lots of work to be done, he asked if I wanted to continue with the inspection. I said no and he agreed because he'd only just gotten the hood open and could see considerable work. He continued anyway though, seemingly out of self-interest. He said, "let's just see." So I let him go thinking he was looking out for me. He seemed to want to take a closer look. He even put it on the lift. Once he took it down I said I was glad I didn't waste the money going through with it, at which point he said, "Well, it's still gonna be $49." Huh? He said he'd put in half an hour of work looking at it, even though I told him at the start, when he asked me if I wanted to continue, that I didn't want to. This guy is a weasel. He's the little guy with the dorky sense of humour. Look out! Will never go back.

Customer service top notch. I went into Long Lake Auto motive and was greeted by a very friend man at the desk who was professional and efficient. I had brought my truck in to get the spark plugs and belts changed over as I had my truck turning off on me. I dropped my truck off, and went about my way. They said to come back in about 2 hours. When I got back, I heard some very poor news that whoever had done work on my truck previously had not tightened down the crank bolt tight enough which caused the Harmonic balancer to spin freely and started to eat away. As soon as they found out that the bolt was not on properly, and found the damage they came directly to me and told me the news, obviously this came as a shock to me. I had to be at work at 4 so Greg, the owner said that he would give me a ride and we can figure out how we were going to go about fixing the problem. He gave me his personal number so I could keep in contact. I found a new balancer and Greg said that he would come in on his day off (saturday) to finish up the work and make sure that the truck was safe and reliable once again. And to top all this off he picked up the part for me from the ferry terminal as I had no way of getting it myself. He then took it back to the shop and gave me a call telling me the work was done and that I could come pick up my truck. The whole experience with Long Lake auto was superb from start to finish. I will definitely come back here for future maintenance. I could have not asked for a better experience or nicer people!

I contacted Greg a couple of times, using their website contact form; NO RESPONSE! When I fill-out the form it will NOT accept my Postal Code. What's the point of offering the convenience of an online form if it doesn't work properly or you don't bother to respond to a potential customer? I moved-on and found a repair facility that fulfills my needs.

I had been told by the dealer shop that my car was unsafe to drive but I had been unhappy with the service I had received there over the years so I went to Long Lake Automotive based on the Google reviews I had read. I was not disappointed. Their service was prompt, straight forward and knowledgeable. They repaired my car and the bill was fair. I am happy to have a place to go to now that I feel confident about
