The local hang out for good food and a comfortable setting. Great service in the off season. Gets a little crowded and noisey in the summer.

ALWAYS exceptional and tasty food. Can be busy, especially in the summer, but you will not regret any wait you may have. Excellent variety of food choices on the menus and THE BEST burgers ever.

Stopped here to meet some family while traveling for work. It's a nice place to go and spend an evening. The atmosphere was great and the service was alright. The food was good but I wouldn't say it stood out to me. Still worth going to and I'd likely come back again if I'm working or traveling. Nice work guys!

Happened to stop in here while traveling through as we thought the building looked nice. Wasn't disappointed. Service was great, burger was excellent. Best part of the meal was the homemade parmesan salad dressing. A bit of a wait for the food but it was enjoyable to just sit out on their nice patio and relax. Will go back next time we're out visiting the Island.

I used to always stop here when I travelled up the Island. I've recently been to the lefty's in Parksville and was happy with the food. I stopped here on the way back from Englishman River. I like the location and atmosphere at the Qualicum one more. It was 5 pm, they weren't busy. Service was poor. I had to go get my own napkins and water. My burger felt like it had been microwaved. Could barely chew through the bun. It was a bit of a shocker. Never had bad food here before.

Top notch service and great atmosphere. Good selection of favourites from pasta pizza and meats - done well. Good kids menu too.

We came here twice in two days because the food was so good. We had the Italian pizza (best EVER!) Quesadillas, prawn appetizer, and the trio dessert. All were delicious!

I have had several of the menu items, each very good, but I would highly recommend a visit to Lefty's based solely on their Apple Crumble Pie - warmed and a la mode! Best dessert, period!

Nice setting in the middle of Quallicum Beach. Original menu with lots of traditional fare and a couple novel dishes. Everything I've ordered here has been fresh and well-prepared and they also have really good coffee. Compared to others in the immediate vicinity, it's probably the best best bet for breakfast/brunch.

So much potential to be great! Nice setting, mouth watering menu! However, service left room for improvement - no water refills or asking about how our meal was. Food was almost but not great. Chicken for my tacos was burnt and the slaw was a little too scanty with a single sprig of cilantro. It was the same with all our entrees - with just a little more attention to service and executing the menu, it could be great!
