Went here for Pancake with Santa (2017) proceeds will benefit Breast cancer. The line up was very long when we arrived there @ 9:30am. It was our first year to go there so it was okay to wait. My advice if you plan to come here next year, you should arrive at 45mins-1hr earlier than the start time this way you won't wait very long like us. We didn't get to the pancake till 11am. Lol. Anyway everything was good. Suggested donation was $5, coffee, tea, hotchocolate are $2 extra, $8 for non-alcoholic wine. They accept debit, credit & cash. If it's not for a very long line up it was all worth it, it felt good to donate, pancake was really good with blueberry compote and everyone was very nice.
We bought a berry pie frozen, followed the instructions given. Truthfully was a terrible, terrible pie. From the cheap tasting crust to the over the top jelly filling. Giving the pie 20min to cool you'd think the pie would be good to eat. Wrong, the jelly was so hot it stuck on you and burned. That's without putting in our mouths, just serving. Over priced cheap pie.
A must visit this time of year to get into the magic of Christmas. Many thoughtful and unique gifts. Plus.better than Mom' pies. My freezer is filled with their delicious frozen berries ready for wholesome smoothies. I was exicted to be able to get some Gluten Free baking for my gluten sensitive guests. Loved the take home (gluten free) corn roasted pizza!
Great atmosphere along with great people. Perfect place to get seasonal ingredients and decorations. Along with a great custard pie.
Great place to go with friends and family. Lots of delicious foods to buy and other household products as well. Krause Berry farms is more than just somewhere to buy fruit.
Love this place!
As close as you can get to a British farm shop type of place.
It has lots for the kids to do, great farm shop and nice food and drink.
The kids love strawberry picking there, as it's nice and clean and accessible for the very small ones.
Definitely worth a day out for all ages
The farm itself is great. Had waffles for breakfast, obviously pricey, but all right. Donuts were also okay. The best thing they made was the milkshake! Really creamy and flavourful. I did buy a pie and vanilla ice cream from the store.big mistake. The crust is made entirely of lard so is tasteless. The ice cream had no vanilla it and it was over churned so was icy, not creamy at all.
We went here for the first time and we enjoyed the berry u-pick (Blueberry and Strawberry) the fruits are sweet. It was a great experience.
We've been here twice already and we really love the place.
We also tried their berry trifle, milkshakes, smoothies, donuts, fudge (it's all good and yummy) and did the wine tasting and we end up purchasing 2 bottles of wine :)
Great customer service.
Fun place. Good to go to pick up blueberry
We love this place so so so much. We now live in Alberta and wish they had a place like that here. Every time we to bc it's one of the 1st stops. The pies fresh fruit and potato bread is to die for. You should open a bakery in spruce Grove. Just saying. Can't wait to see you in the summer
Not bad for a farm but much to see. Not much fruit to pick or perhaps I went at the wrong time. They have nice raspberry syrup though.
Went there for the first time last week. Purchased a medium container or strawberries, small container of raspberries & blueberries, pie in a jar, 4 things from the bakery, and fudge. Almost $40 just to have to throw the strawberries and raspberries out when I got home as they were rotten and covered in mold. I have called and called with no success at reaching anyone in the office. Extremely disappointed in the lack of response from staff. If you purchase berries from the market check they aren't rotten before you pay so you don't end up throwing your money in the garbage. I could go to Costco and buy berries for less and know I'm not getting rotten product. If you must buy anything from here get stuff that is already made (fudge or pie in a jar) those are at least good. 100% will not be back after such lack of service and horrible product.
Love the friendliness and how relaxing it is once you arrive. There fresh fruits, frozen soups, any of there foods are like eating your own cooked meals. The waffles are amazing. Freshly made there. Yummy! We make it a morning of it.
