Booked once. It’s not a clean and comfortable place. Rundown dirty hotel which is very much overpriced. I am not going there again. No way.

This place is awful, The don't even deserve a star. We drove 14 hours from Edmonton and arrived at the inn at 5 am with the intentions to stay for one full day. We received a phone call from front office saying we are past check out time even though they didn't tell us we had to check out at 11am. We paid $322 for 6 hours of sleep, with intentions of getting at least 8+hours of sleep. We will never book here again.

I booked thru Hotwire. I was very shocked to see what I got for over 70$ per night. I am a working middle class person and not a prude so I gave it a chance. But it was unfortunately as horrible as it looked in the pictures. The girl at the front desk asked for a 200$ deposit because they have had incidence of violence and abuse where people have wrecked entire rooms. That should have been a red flag and I should have just left at that point but I didn’t feel like throwing away $200.00. I checked two rooms because the first one smelled terrible and then the second one smelled worse. The first thing I did was checked the bed for bugs. Unfortunately I arrived home with bites all over my back. This is not appropriate for public accommodation.

The hotel is old and not clean enough,the walls should be painted in light color and its too dark here for the money that you are paying for busy season is decent but not if you can get same price somewhere else. I hope the owner reads comments. The building stinks and carpets so much dirt on it.

When I arrived at the hotel and saw the rooms, I thought "Wow, how did they only get a two star rating" the rooms were very reasonable. Well, I found out after a few days where the rating came from. I arrived back at the hotel at 2am and advised that I'd like to stay another day. The attendant (a male) said he could not make the reservation until the morning (sure, makes sense) so he told me to show up in the morning to book it. I show up at 9am and the attendant ( a different male) tells me that he is new so come back in an hour. I come back in an hour and the female at the counter (I believe her name was Prob) advised me that they checked me out and booked my room to someone else. I told them I would take a lesser room. They booked it for me and the next day I told them I wanted to stay for two more days. The attendant (same male from 2am - not the new guy) tells me that it will be 30 dollars more because I have a different room now. I said, yes, I have a lesser room with no stove, etc. He tells me that this is the best they can do. I settle and pay what he ask and then out of curiousity I check online. Not only was it forty dollars cheaper online, it was actually cheaper than the first night I booked. The problem with this hotel isn't the hotel or the cleaning staff. The problem with this hotel is the attendants and it's a big problem.

smaller room, no microwave but the worst was hot room specially in the afternoon where the sun is on the window side. There old a/c can't cool of the room. There tight/narrow hallway were a lot comfortable. If you want sauna all day long, this is the place for you.

Great customer service. Good rooms for the price. Had to book last minute and was met with wonderful help and a decent place. Lots of restaurants around the hotel and close to our venue.

After trying different hotels we always come back here. Super clean, seriously. Super tidy and put together, great staff, great parking, decent location. This is our 5th time staying and is always our go to. So much love for the happy day inn!

This place is the worst Motel in the area. They're cheaters, they charged me triple because I walked in instead of booking online and according to them its their policy and this is how they make money off people. Plus its not in a safe neighborhood there are a lot of homeless people around and my car was scratched in this place parking lots which basically, they did not take responsibility on that. So sad with their service

Booked a room for one night through the hotel's website. Rooms are pretty much on par with other hotels of a similar rate, but extremely displeased that they don't tell you about the mandatory $200 credit card only deposit (in addition to your room charges!) until you check in, long after you've made your reservation which is at that point non refundable. Staff was nice, but had no concept of cc rules (or just plain lied, which is a bit more likely) and insisted I would have the deposit back in my account the next day. I won't be staying here again.
